Thanks Felippe, these were great tips. I recently tried OBS on a huge teams meeting and it looked like garbage. When you use conferencing platforms do you just use the virtual camera or do you share a window of your obs feed?

@@joelg598 always virtual camera, but you need to make sure you are able to stream at HD at least. On Zoom you need to contact the support and request that. On teams I’m not familiar

I spent hours and days learning how to create presentations with scenes, etc but when I use Zoom I still get that tiny thumbnail view of myself in the corner so there are two images of me at the same time and it's horribly distracting. How do you get rid of the Zoom thumbnail?

@@DavidLukas I don't use screenshare. I use OBS instead, like I'm teaching in this video. This way you don't get the thumbnail

@ I don't quite understand. Are you clicking an option such as window capture in Zoom and then running OBS in the window? Or do you do it another way?

@ you just need to click on “start virtual camera” and choose OBS as a camera

Quick question, I am setting up a zoom sales presentation “studio”. My plan is to use an iPhone 12 Pro as my webcam. Can I run that through Blackmagic Camera app to OSB and have Zoom recognize the feed from OSB as the camera? Will blackmagic app work with OSB? I enjoy your videos, thank you!

@@jessebradin8992 The black magic camera app was made for recording, not live broadcast. So you won’t have a way of using it as a camera feed unfortunately

Unfortunately OBS never seems to on my Mac the way it does in KZbin videos, which typically are done using PCs. It needs a bigger community of Mac users. Ecamm is supposed to be built for Mac. I’m trying to find the best solution but I’m using a Mac.

I am a Mac ser and 50% of the members of my program are Mac users. All my KZbin video are recorded through OBS. It is a great tool for Mac, and does things that Ecamm and other tools don't even come close.

@@FelippeNardi I need to find a video for Mac users. When I watch the KZbin videos showing how to use OBS some of those settings are not available on my computer. They are grayed out. Strange. I'm using a Macbook Air M1 with OS 15.1.1 and 16GB Ram.
