I’ve found one of these with the v8 chassis, and body with doors. Windshield area still fiberglass. $5500 with transaxle probably from corvair? Listed as 1970. Think I should? I could sell my Vette and buy the kit. Probably needs engine and interior stuff, which I have.

George, the Buick 215 motor, is it just that, or one out of a 1980 ROVER SD1 3500 ? There is much history upon that motor being sold to the British, with it being used in a multiple of automobiles that they produced 😙👌..it was/is a very nicely designed unit, very dependable too...came injected in the North American market.

I got the engine out of a 66 Buick Special.....for three years I think it was that the engine number was also vin number of car.....that helped me a great deal getting it registered and licensed here in Florida.....

Where is the vin number located in this car?
@georgeshell85703 жыл бұрын
In the state of Florida and after you build the car from scratch like I did they assign you a VIN Number....they would not accept the Kit Number from Fiberfab....the VIN Number is printed on a stick on vinyl type decal and they will let you put it anywhere you like.....I placed mine on the inside of the car on the left fender well wall for easy reading....the FIBERFAB Metal ID Serial Number Plate is Pop Riveted to the frame in the engine compartment........

Interesting. Fiberfab's spaceframe was a great idea. I| see Fiberfab has been aquired and is producing Valkyries again.

Hi Angus...Yes....Space Frame and added roll bar along with internal carbon fiber reinforced body and making the doors joined to the body that I did makes for a very stiff setup with no body flexing or leaning in the corners make this car handle like a Slot Car....yes they are still being produced....this particular car is serial number one of the reintroduction of the Kit....the Kit came with just a frame...body...front and rear windshield and window gaskets.......….
