From what I remember, it wasn't too hard. You don't have to remove it entirely, just enough to get the arms out. I believe we just got it most of the way out, swapped the arms and pushed it back in.

@4WDTrekАй бұрын
I'm going to likely pull this video down. They are absolutely NOT built for anything more than driving on the road. And even then, I would be weary. I have actually had nothing but troubles with them. Multiple brackets where the welds are failing and multiple joints wearing out. I do some rock crawling and offroad stuff but they are NOT holding up what so ever. I am actually literally in the middle of filming and building the 3 link kit from Barnes 4wd right now. I would suggest avoiding these control arms.

These lights are lights that you will never have to buy again. If they are somehow destroyed, they are covered under full lifetime warranty. I'll take these lights from vehicle to vehicle and they will likely out last them all.
@TheRambler-pz1gxАй бұрын
@@4WDTrek warranties are a joke now a days, and are easily avoided by the manufacturer. $1000 I can buy new Amazon cheapo light bars every year, and still not spend $1000. They also have a warranty. Let's also not forget thieves. Expensive light bars are a meth heads wet dream.
@4WDTrekАй бұрын
Well, you do you! I've purchased too many of those amazon light bars for them to last maybe a year if I'm lucky. They would not hold up at all through puddles as knuckle pods nor through deeper puddles and splashes. I've had them get bashed and filled with water. thank you for publishing this video! my leaking issues seem to be in the front doors. this video shows one supplier of a specifically designed door seal: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZrWgI2bj86nmLM however, the 2-door kit costs $100 & 4-door is $250!!! 😳 i seem to only have leaking issues on the front two doors, but to me this appears to be insane pricing for mere weather stripping. have you found an off-the-shelf weather stripping product that works well for sealing the doors, and is not too thick to allow the doors to close properly? (in the video, the guy said that is an issue with most weather stripping available.) thank you! 8-)
@4WDTrek2 ай бұрын
Is there damage done to the seals? Generally you can see if there is seals around the doors and the tops. The front doors of the 2 door are the same as the front doors on a 4 door. You can buy the 2 door kit and just use it on the 4 door. I haven't done any of those seals as mine were not bad. Usually it is the foam spots that are bad.

Did you replace the seals in this video? I would suggest going through and really scrub all the areas clean. Also inspect the seals that go along the windshield and look for dirt, debris and cracks. Clean it out very well. A thin layer of vasoline along the rubber seals will help to rejuvenate them.

It has been great on the 40s. I'm not sure if the 1.75 is actually needed or not. My limiting factor currently us the slower response when turning hard one way then back the other way at slow speeds, but I think that's due to the flow rate of the pump.
