There is a commander type called "Game Master". This one can command and control both sides.

Personally, I love CA and have a lot of fun with it. However, the documentation is outdated and most online tutorials show you stuff the "wrong" way. CA content is rare and you need to build your own missions. It is also important what you want to do with it. Fighting in tanks and other armed vehicles is fun, but you need to know that the "correct" aiming mode is a bit hidden in the game. The strategy interface is pretty unwieldy an there are some bugs in the unit behaviour that can get frustrating. Best you grab it on a sale.

Check the link in the video description for further information about the sound problem. Short version: Remove all mods and try again. Removing the UH-60 mod solved it for me. Regarding the T-72B3: It`s a known issue and there is also a bug report in the official forum where it is mentioned. So far, there isn't any fix for that.

In the JTAC view, you do not use the tank's laser range finder. You use an extra piece of equipment like in this article: defence24.com/laser-target-designators-paving-the-way-for-air-force-and-artillery-assets So as JTAC you can lase from any vehicle, even ones that do not have a laser, for example, an HMMV. I am no military expert, but I don't think each real-world tank crew has this equipment. I am not even sure if tank crews get it at all. However, in DCS any vehicle can act as JTAC and therefore has this equipment.

Yes, the reason is that the power went off (at 4:05) for a few seconds after I cut off the engines. I am not sure, how the whole power system in the Apache works (have to read the manual), but the generators also seem to be tied to the rotor RPM. However, I don't know yet, why some of the systems came back, while others didn't. Any clue?

@@wychmaster7450 No, not really. If the generators initially spooled down then all the avionics should have gone off. I think only the small front display is supported by battery power.

@@wychmaster7450 when the main rotor transmission went below 77 nr the 85-tooth gear sprag clutch was disengaged, the sprag clutch provides shaft power to the accessory gearbox that generates ac power, the clutch was engaged again when main rotor transmission whent up again.
