Great reactions. Yeah, Maddie was called the Goblin Queen because, back in the day, censorship meant she couldn’t be called the Devil Queen. Just like how it’s called Limbo instead of Hell. I did like that Morph changed into the other character that the 80’s inferno event touched on; Magik and even showed her Darkchild form. Episode 4 was very fun. Nice to see the queen of dance, Spiral, appear. Could’ve been cool to see Major Domo, Minor Domo, Longshot and maybe even his father/son; Shatterstar. Fun fact; in Storm’s story, a pair of villains were removed from her story which connected it to Magneto’s trial; The Fenris twins. They’re basically Hydra’s Nepo baby answer to what if you mixed together Ilsa She-Wolf of the SS and Crimson Peak. For the show, the Gifted, the main twins are their Grandchildren. Looking forward to the next couple.of episodes.

From what I can tell, they brought back every original voice actor that’s still alive. If they couldn’t do their original character, they voiced someone else. And every character recast sounds rather spot on in my opinion.

The rest of the team comes to rescue then, and Storm fights Kallisto, betting Scott vs Leadership of the Morlocks. Storm beats Kallisto, and in the process, becomes their leader. The part you didn't like, just to be clear. The reason why Gambits charge didn't explode Wolverine claws is because Gambit has psionic control over the objects he charges. He can choose when they detonate or not. Perfect examples are Deadpool and Wolverine and the OG series Season 2 episode 2 when Morph was impersonating the Professor when he was being controlled by Sinister. Gambit charged a card and threw it but it didn't explode.

This was a fantastic series. I did love a good amount of the cameos. I mean, episode 1 has the newspaper where they have Stacy X and Dust on it. That made me smile. These first three episodes and stuff on storm take a lot from the 80’s comics, like the original Trial of Magneto and two events that’ll be shown in the next few episodes. One of them showing one of my absolute favourite characters. My only gripe with the trial is that, whilst the X-cutioner does make more villain sense, I would’ve liked to see two villains who I loved to see beaten up that make their costumed debut in the trial; The Fenris twins. Those two are Hydra nepo babies who got the x gene put in them by their dad’s scientists. They debuted first during Storm’s depowered Kenyan tour as Baron von Strucker’s possibly Apartheid era South African kids who try and kill her because she stopped the brother from violating a local woman so his sister could watch. These two are disgusting and stupid to a degree that it’s like if Claremont watched Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS whilst reading Flowers in the attic. But they’re good at driving a message home and they’re hilariously incompetent. Great first video.

Lair Games is a great episode, but it also upsets me because imagine being Donnie. You finally dethrone your brother who is a cocky bastard… only to find out you’ve been played. It not only brings into question whether or not Leo lost on purpose, but completely ruins the high Donnie must’ve felt from beating Leo. Not to mention he looks like he’s absolutely suffering in that last shot. I’m sure he could easily create a solution (like redirecting the vents to Leo’s new room) but they left it on a sour note for me.

House of X slaps after a decade of Decimation and trying to use the Xmen to give Avengers and Inhumans a leg-up. I know people have issues with some stuff post inferno but House of X did something that I’ve wanted to see for years; Make Destiny scary. Also, the moment I saw that Emma was about helping the kids, I’m like “we’re in good hands, people.”

I assume most yokai want to steer clear of the *mafia*. Hueso probably went to Leo as a last resort. And having more than two of the brothers definitely would’ve resulted in disaster for the restaurant. Raph’s huge and Donnie’s… Donnie. In his quest for parent-aged validation from Hueso and/or the mob bosses, his tech would probably malfunction somehow. Also, as a Jew, “let my people grow” is a very good pun so I think it gets a pass. Relevant in context of the show? Not really, but it’s harmless.

Just wanna say that even though it would've been cool watching someone going in blind imto the show, its still exciting watching a reaction from an actual fan of the comics for me personally...

cool thing they did for 97, a little fun fact, morph actually uses they/them pronouns in this! and like you noticed, they seemed to have gotten a bit of a buff power wise, being able to actually turn into colossus/knowing how to use psylocks swords? idk, or maybe its a little rule of cool logic. either way i just think they're neat :))
