I suppose if you buy tons of figures every year then yeah you might get tired of seeing the same buck used over and over but I buy maybe six figures per year, and this one looked great in reviews so I got it. I really like the way it looks.

mcfarlane has better sculpt paint articulation and kinda freedom but marvel legends has better choices of which figures to make. if theres a marvel character that had even a little bit of noterity theres a good chance they will have a figure. meanwhile spoiler is the only member of the batfamily that doesnt have a dc multiverse despite her popularity.

Take it ez guys he made an honest mistake. People rushing to the comment section just to shit on this guy for not knowing this was the af spiderman. I didn't know until i watched d-amazings video. I skipped the preorder because i assumed it was the og retro card figure repackaged. That led to me paying over retail a week before Amazon restocked this guy. That sucked azz. I got the SW cap on ice.

My hand broke out of package as a result of the cuff but I found using the animal man gold label wrist pegs fixes the issue and even helps hide the joints better

7:36 I would say triangle for this release since that is the design he had in Secret Wars however they got the eyes wrong so the only thing I would change would be giving it the eyes from the previous release or something even more rounder to better emulate how it was drawn back then for that specific time

Preordering any MacFarlane figure can net you the variant you do not want and sellers will not do exchanges for the one you actually want. Entertainment Earth specifically doesn't give you a heads up on getting a variant and will not give you your full purchase price and charge you $10 for a return label.

Man, you are hilarious!😂 Captain America used to be on the Grim Reaper body but has been receiving his own unique sculpts for a long time. Renew Your Vows is the most popular Spider-Man build but I prefer the Amazing Fantasy body for the smaller proportions. There's is a fair amount of reuse but it's no worse than McFarlane with the Batman and Booster Gold repeats. Great video👏👏

@AlanDavidDoane it's similar but not the same. The arms and shoulders are a completely different sculpt. The most recent figure that uses the most of the Grim Reaper is Namor unfortunately as he is my other favorite character. I hate how the shoulders grind in the socket🤦🏾♂️

If you googled "Sunfire" and the retro Spidey came up, then you have a problem. You have no idea what you're talking about. This is in fact a repaint, just not the one you're referring to. It is the Amazing Fantasy mold and it's the fifth time they're using this mold. The black color inconsistency between different parts, the tone difference in white, the fuzziness on the logo, the huge feet and the cracks in the plastic make this figure a mediocre one at best. Like someone else said here, you must be blind.

Obviously Mafex figures are much nicer, but the comic releases your also literally getting basically the same exact figure with new heads and paint apps/sculpting details obviously. Maybe it matters less because that body is simply amazing but like... What's really the significant difference between the symbiote spiderman, or spiderman 2099, or Scarlet spider besides their outward appearance? Even my Phoenix just feels like Spiderman with more curves and less muscles 😂😂😂

I'm really glad they released this figure with the Amazing Fantasy body mold. It's my favorite spider-man body mold for a long time, it looks like a guy in a suit and it doesn't look like an adult so it fits really well next to other superheroes that are older

@@spideyboy2358 I'm not a fan of the Renew your vows body mold actually lol it's too muscular for my taste, I think that the Amazing Fantasy body works better for my image of spider-man in general. I do think that the articulated feet should be a must from now on tho. The Renew your vows figure itself looks a bit weird, it has an oversized logo on the chest, the spider on the back looks weird once you move the joints and the area between his eyes was supposed to have a shape to represent his nose, but that figure doesn't have that so it looks like he is suffocating to me lol

@@snapper26 it seems like most problems you mention aren’t with the actual body but with the paint job which would be different since it would be the black suit this time also I am kinda confused what you mean he doesn’t have a nose shape on his mask cause to me he clearly does I am looking at the figure right now One more thing I think you have to take personal preference aside for accuracy when making a figure based off something Pete in secret wars was Drawn a big guy so I think he should look like a big guy not a short lean guy but that is just my opinion

My understanding is that you have the sunfire body mold/ 2099 white suit, which has the waist swivel and ab crunch then in 2020 the retro classic spiderman came out which was a modified version of that body mold with a dumbell neck, a dumbell at the torso with a lower abdomen ab crunch which is what the retro black suit uses. I think this new release uses the amazing fantasy body which is a tad smaller body with a similar articulation scheme. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's right

Nice try Diddy. 3 Walmarts within a 6 mile radius and they've all had the same three Toddy Mac figures for the last 6 months. 2 don't even have any Legends displayed at all. And Midfarlane female figures rarely stick around long enough to not be smart and pre order.

I'm all but done with mcfarlane toys over Todd McFarlane and his egotistical business practices and bullshit excuses that are clearly lies for their constant blunders... Todd McFarlane still thinks he's the main character in the comics and toy community when he's not, the only reason people still know his face is because the man's ego won't let anyone else speak or be on camera at his company!... I mean seriously, the little Asian woman in one of his batmobile videos was literally just a prop to stand there for scale and say nothing!
