It took me over 50 years to finally find this record. I first heard it on a 4 or 8 track track tape from Daly City Bob in the SF bay area. Great info. I guess due to the spelling I could never find it. Now it's in the collection thanks to Times Square Records. Thank you Lou!

Joy Hodges was lifelong friends with Ronald Reagan even before Hollywood. She sang at the WHO Radio Station where he was a sports announcer. When she went out to Hollywood, she then introduced him to an agent, who then got him a screen test at Warner Bros. The rest as they say, is history.

My dad introduced me to Cab Callloway. He would have been 98 this year. Thanks, dad. Cool 😎

I'd like to hear the entire grand award album with all his biggest hits. the album cover was sort of medium darkish blue and a lot of white. It may have been his first stereo one , not sure but can't find it on youtube yet

My parents loved him. Very hard to get his records in Britain in the 1950’s, but they had an American diplomat friend who used to bring new ones near Christmas time. I think he was the Michael Jackson of his era.

Today is February 13, 2024 & this was one of my Dad's favorite Christmas songs. He would hum or sing it when he was driving or around the house. I am playing it today as this is his birthday & he would have been 104. He passed on October 26, 2004. Oh yeah, he would tap his feet & sometimes even get Mama to dance around with him. Mama passed on May 16 2022, 3 weeks shy of her 98th birthday, which was June 13, 1924.

This is sung by Robert M Klimes - the same guy who sang on all those Mr Gasser and Weirdos albums. His with Eileen even wrote the b-side Movin' Free
