Born and raised in Banning, CA (Approx 20 mi. west of PS) many years ago. Had never really seen it from the air that low before. Had seen the San Gorgonio Pass where it is located flying into LAX from the east coast, so from much higher altitude in a larger jet (DC-10). Can see it at the 10:18 mark in the video when it is under the wing before the desert begins down to PS.

Grew up in Berdoo, nice to see it from above. Rare snow top scenery, very beautiful. I haven't seen the area for 40 years, man has the place expanded substantially. I remember Palm Springs being like just a couple miles across.

Great takeoff path. Got to see Puget Sound, West Seattle/Alki Beach/Sea-Tac Airport/Tacoma/Mt. Rainier, Mt Hood, Mt. St Helens, and it appears Olympia there at the end.

I'd like to. 14:17 - I almost thought for a minute that the pilots u-turned the aircraft too soon and that they were flying over the airport and would have to u-turn again, lol, but of course then realized it was a different airport

Wife and I will be flying from Sea-Tuc in Feb 2023… I absolutely hate (probably even worse than hate) the takeoffs in airplanes, I’m good at level and landing but for some reason taking off terrifies me… however the weather I’m hoping will be awesome and warm in Feb in Tucson

This is hands down the best video I've seen, and the clearest into LAX. Kudos to you, kind sir for posting it. Great views of Ventura County: Ojai Valley, Ventura/Oxnard, Malibu Mtns then the usual east turn over the LA Basin. From the air like this, on a clear day, you can really see how huge and sprawling LA is. Second biggest city in the U.S.. Of course, the 405 North was crowded. I live in the Bay Area, born and raised. But used to love flying down there as a kid in the 80s. There was a lot more smog then though, esp. in the summers.
