BIG TIME! I'm going through a big band/swing phase atm, I heard Glenn Millers, at last. Which led me to Etta's version. and I instantly heard adele. I thought that's where she may have got some inspiration. Which led me here. I'd love to hear an adele cover of at last!

Sorry. She has no musical sensibility, and the guitar is horrible. Many people recorded this song before Etta James (and it was written by Floyd Hunt, not Etta James) including Dinah Washington, Georgia Gibbs, Billy Eckstine, Sammy Kaye, The Ravens, La Vergne Smith, LaVern Baker, Mae Arnetter, Bev Kelly, and Lurlean Hunter. I would suggest anyone wanting to learn this tune listen to the latter five on the list.
