Kamiya, I hope you and your team can outdo Ninetails because I think this is literally like the pinnacle of his talent. Like from the constellation having a different more foreboding sound that plays to when you first see it to how it mimics Amaterasu in every way. I really Ninetails to come back in the sequel one day but until then, I’ll keep being a diehard Okami fan and enjoying life.

I just beat the Kusa 5 in my very first playthrough of this game as of writing, and my god they are no joke! Made me use a huge chunk of my items and even pop all my astral pouches! Arguably and personally my favorite fight in the entire game so far XD. Kudos to you. you make fighting them an art form!

My favorite thing about Ninetails is how they control space by sidestepping to cut you off from getting around them, especially when you’re against the side of the arena. I wish more of the fight was actually going toe to toe with them instead of waiting for the sword to go up.

Ninetails in this game is honestly the most badass of boss fights. You can feel his evil nature and his rageful pride. He's got that intimidating stature and energy and when the mask comes off, you are almost expecting to get slashed in one shot with the angered glare he gives

Ninetails is my favorite boss in video game history. It's so powerful it could destroy Nippon if it wanted to but instead would rather watch it suffer either it's possessing the Water Dragon or creating a disease killing everyone slowly and painfully.
