For understanding og building methods we think you would be better off with books such as: Building Construction Handbook by Roy Chudley and Roger Greeno or Barry's Introduction to Construction of Buildings by Stephen Emmitt

Easy - stop talking just listen to everything going on around you. Volunteer for everything especially things you know nothing about You have google and KZbin which will show you in detail everything you need to know

As Lorneplumber suggested, a great deal can be learned from watching and taking note of how your seniors interact with clients and deal with their day to day tasks. Gaining your own knowledge by reading and watching relevant videos will also significantly help!

@@Metroun Thanks for your reply. Kingston is actually very low on the Building League Tables. Concerned about this. Will this matter much to employers? Can't seem to find any reviews online about Kingston MSc. I spoke to one recruiter who said university doesn't matter much as long as it's RICs accredited but then some other (maybe less experienced) recruiters said the uni matters.

Also curious to know how you placed LSBU as second when it's 27th on the Building League table.
