You were spot on with the colours, green then the yellow, also taupe [by Rit] is perfect for harvested fields. Only problems I've had is the clothes pins constantly breaking [come apart at spring] or getting knocked off. I bought 5lbs. raffia and it was far to white [ish] to use. The dye jobs saved the day. Thanks. Btw I did save the dye. It doesn't work as well when cold, and after 5 weeks it was pretty nasty, I dumped it out.

Outfit looks nice!! I have an old outfit like that that I used for years when I rabbit hunted. You have to have pants that are briar resistant for sure, especially from the knees down, if you are in the field hunting rabbits because you are going to get into briars. The old outfit that I have, that looks just like that, has a heavier material from the knees down to protect your calves and shins from getting pricked by briars. I like New View Hunting's clothing and gear. We have their camo hunting outfits and they are awesome, good quality for the price. Anyone could afford these over some of the cost of some of the major brands. They always have plenty of pockets on their outfits. And the one thing is New View Hunting listens to hunters. Been using them ourselves for over a year and a half to two years now. So glad there is a company who understands hunters. Thanks for sharing your review of the Upland Hunting Outfit.

Thank you for sharing! These products are designed for hunters engaged in small game hunting or upland hunting. Do you think we need to make the pants thicker to prevent hunters from getting scratched when moving through brush?
@Windwalker_Outdoors
@Windwalker_Outdoors 11 күн бұрын
@newviewhunting The pants would be great for warm weather. If it were up to me, I'd put an additional layer of thicker material on the outside, from the thigh down. The pants have a great, comfortable feel to them that's hard to describe. I like them. For thick brush with lots of sharp briars, hunters may want a little more protection.

The TideWe blind is ok for the money, my hunting buddy bought one to "save money" instead of paying good money for a quality blind such as a Double Bull. The TideWe material is thin and rips easily on briars and stickers, the camo fades pretty quickly when left out in the elements, he left his out for the entire turkey season and it faded quickly. I have owned a Double Bull Matrix360 from the day Keith Beam invented it and then sold it to Primos. I currently have 3 Double Bull Blinds, The Matrix360, The Dark Horse and the new Surround View Double Wide. There is really no comparison to the Double Bull. It has a LIFETIME warranty on the rods, it has water resistant material that is way more durable to the elements, a back pack carry bag that will hold the blind and 2 stools or 1 stool and a firearm, you cant get that with TideWe. Yes the TideWe cost is way less, and you can buy three of them to the cost of 1 Double Bull, and that a good thing, because you will need 3 TideWe to last as long as 1 Double Bull..
@Windwalker_Outdoors
@Windwalker_Outdoors 19 күн бұрын
I can somewhat agree with the durability of the Double Bull. As mentioned in the video, the blind does feel more sturdy. The biggest and one of the most important features to me is the window system. The Tidewe window system is far better than the Double Bull. The windows on the Double Bull are either fully open or fully closed. There is no in between. The layout of the windows makes it hard to allow two shooters easy shooting lane access. The Tidewe is the opposite. The windows can be opened quickly and silently, as little or as much as you want. There is a generous field of view for each hunter. I've hunted with the Double Bull for several years. Despite it being a more sturdy blind, the window system sucks. I've taken quite a few turkeys from it, as well as my buddy taking a few. This past season, I used the Tidewe. It was set up a week or so before turkey season and came down after the season, approximately a month and a half. No fading, no tears. Another thing to consider, if a hunter were to choose to buy the Double Bull and it gets stolen, he's out $300. If his Tidewe gets stolen, he's only out a third of that. If a hunter wanted to buy multiple blinds to set up preseason on different properties, he could get three Tidewe's for a little more than the price of one Double Bull. Just imagine the cost of buying three Double Bull 's to set up. I will say the Double Bull will probably sit in the shed from here on out. It is obsolete, in my opinion. I just don't like that window system. It is also a hindrance when it comes to self filming a hunt with the limited window field of view.
@rodrincker2757
@rodrincker2757 19 күн бұрын
@@Windwalker_Outdoors Its very obvious you have never used a Double Bull 360, Dark Horse or the new Surround view 360. It has a different window system than the Double Bull 270. So you are comparing apples to oranges.. The double bull is wayyy better,,,
@Windwalker_Outdoors
@Windwalker_Outdoors 19 күн бұрын
@rodrincker2757 I'm comparing the 270 degree field of view Double Bull to the 270 degree field of view Tidewe. If I were comparing a 360 field of view Double Bull to a 270 degree field of view Tidewe, I'd consider that apples to oranges. After all....the video is about comparing both of the blinds in the video, not comparing the Tidewe to every make and model blind out there. Again, that would be comparing apples to oranges. You are correct, I have no experience with the other blinds you have mentioned. Again, I agree that the Double Bull blinds are made better. I have no disagreement there. I'm looking at the price I'd pay for each blind and if a cheaper blind would do what I want it to do. I've hunted out of each of the 270 degree blinds and prefer the Tidewe hands down. Have you hunted out of each of the two blinds mentioned in the video? Do you have personal experience hunting out of a Tidewe blind? Did the Tidewe blind hinder you in any way or ruin your hunt? Any negative features you didn't care for?
@rodrincker2757
@rodrincker2757 19 күн бұрын
@@Windwalker_Outdoors Yes i have used both the blinds in the video, i had a 270 surroundview and just like you, i didn't care for the triangle window in the front and i thought it was too high to shoot or film out of comfortably so i sold it and got a Surroundview max, i used a TideWe blind last year hunting with my buddy when he bought his, i have no issues with the Tidewe, it will get the job done but the question is, for how long? In my opinion, it's cheap made and if you want to buy a cheap hunting blind then a cheap hunting blind you will get. For me, it's hard to beat the quality, durability and lifetime warranty on the hardware of a Double Bull. If you ever get the chance, look at the Surroundview max with the doublewide door and tell me what you think of that.

I have both a tide weed and a double bowl blind, and I love the corner windows where you can open up the blacked out area and nothing else. I actually safety my blackout windows to where I only open up half of it so I can shoot through it. The reason those windows are black is so when it’s open, you don’t notice or the deer don’t notice a difference as if it’s camo and then when you’re in it, you crack the window open to Schueth or open the window all the way, the camo is gone and it alerts the deer that something is different is different. Hi, I wish the tide we had blackout windows and the availability to open a small window window for a gun or a crossbow

I’ve never used double bull but the tide we in my opinion is very cheaply made. I like the window layout but poor execution. I can’t get the windows to stay completely open without tucking the middle under itself. The entrance( mine was a zipper only) was extremely loud to get in and out and the entrance is quite small. I left my blind out in the woods from early August til end of November and started getting little pin holes in the roof and on the back black portion. I think it’s best suited for turkey hunting set up in a field. In a woods setting with any kind of overcast it was very difficult to see out of the side windows due to how dark it was. I’m a bigger guy 6-3 with a 30 inch draw and when I draw my elbow hits the back of the blind very little clearance for shooting my bow with how small vertically the windows are. Definitely a lot of room for improvements but for the price it’s kind of what I expected
