Good video man, thanks for this. In australia,can now pickup the epic max ls with ventus blue 6s shaft for equivalent 200pounds. Do you think it still holds weight in 2024 for that price ? I have a similar swing speed to you, just slightly slower

Thanks for the video! Adjustments question. I have the 10-1/2 degree XB model and found that I needed to go up to 12 degrees to get the proper launch height. My understanding is that as you increase the loft - the face closes more. My misses are to the left so this is not the best thing for me. Wondering if I replaced the removable 6-gram weight with a 12-gram weight it would allow me to drop the loft back down to 10-1/2 degrees - if it would maintain my desired launch height and also bring the clubface make to neutral. Sorry - a bit wordy, Thanks for your response.

I've played the f7 one lengths since day one. Love them and have had the gapping issue at the top of the set between the 5-6 iron. Looking forward to receiving my new set of Radspeeds I'm hearing that issue has been dealt with.

I moved to Japan around 6 months ago and I found that a set of brand new Honma TR21X is cheaper than the P790, i500, ZX5, and the JPX919. This is honestly a no brainer for me.
@kevinroy7200 Жыл бұрын
just added a full set of d9s to the bag , 180 yds with a 5 hybrid , that was a 3 wood range in previous sets as for the price still coming in cheaper ,even with a custom fit on the irons than other brands , £646 cheaper than the equilvent TM sim2 , so i should gain some serious yardage this season , and hopefully drop the handicap , Nice to finally find a review from a local range Forthview (AIRTH)

I started playing around May. I’ve been using a TM R580 I got from goodwill and my new Sim 2 max gets here in 7 days.

I have a set. I think they have been great. I hit a friend’s Ping i525s and thought the Honmas felt much softer and less clicky and harsh. Very nice clubs.
@ariffzainal26022 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback. I was thinking of getting the i525 but after reading this I've ordered the TR21X instead. Besides, prices on TR21X has gone down since it was launched and I got it for half the price of the i525. That itself is good enough of a reason to get the Honma.

I'm a high handicapper and I know the TR21X and TR20P aren't necessarily designed for me but if I were forced to buy one which are closer to game improvement? I can't quite work it out and there's no places I can test them locally.
@supanununu2 жыл бұрын
I have the exactly same question as well. Still seeking answers.
@Vnam722 жыл бұрын
@@supanununu I found a place to test them both. Surprisingly, both were similar and even as a 'bad player' I was hitting them just as good as my own game improvement irons. I would say the TR21X were slightly stronger lofted so it was going maybe a couple of yards further on average, but nothing major. I ended up buying the TR20Ps simply because I preferred the look.

From the viewers perspective assuming that the TSi3 was the target line, then all 6 Epic were left of target (possibly due to a slight draw) and all 6 Radspeeds were right of target. Am I right did the Rad have a tendency to push? For me forgiveness is king, rather be hitting 8 yards short on the fairway than 8 yards longer in the rough. Thanks

Problem now with Wilson, is that they've fallen into the trap of relating price to the hype, so these are £900+ for a 7 piece set. If they could get that into the 650 region then I'd take a look. And given that the shafts and grips used in nearly all too iron sets have been common parts for years, I can't understand why they can't meet that price.

Great review, would these one length suit a senior golfer 66 with a 7i swing speed of 75/78 mph. Was thinking maybe the one length hybrid from 5 down to help with ball height.

Great review. I went SIM2 (non-max) because I hit the two IDENTICALLY. The reason I went non-Max is because the head of the Sim2 is 3 grams heavier (about a swing weight +). I didn't see any significant forgiveness in the max.

I have Callaway apex 21's. Love them and they suit my swing, but, in my humble opinion, the clean lines of the TM are much sexier than the Callaway designs...even with the Callaway Pros which looks cleaner but still look clunkier than the TM's

Hi there, just found your channel👍 One question. I am thinking about getting the D9 irons. But getting fitted and getting the irons will take between 5-8 weeks at this time where I live. Have no irons at the moment, since I sold my last set one year later for the same price as I bought them for a year ago. So I am considering getting the D9s off the rack. Never had a real fitting. What would you do in my situation?

Great explanation o what data SAM provides. But if you pick 2 or 3 putters that you like, must you repeat this entire test process for each one of the putters to decide what optimal settings each one would need. Thanks
