Your drag is too Lose , that’s why your losing Fish shouldn’t drag when you set that hook🦾
@tidalquestАй бұрын
I agree, tighter drag probably would’ve landed more fish.
@josephchristopher7534Ай бұрын
I see some guys rig the single treble on a swivel so it dangles a little lower.
@tidalquestАй бұрын
@@josephchristopher7534 Yes! I’ve tried it like that too!
@Phil_TheekritАй бұрын
Dude tighten that drag. Tough to get a good hook set when it’s that loose.
@AOMilvadoАй бұрын
Nice video. What was the top water plug you were using at first and what did you switch to?
@AOMilvadoАй бұрын
And what about the change do you think did it? The size, the color?
@tidalquestАй бұрын
@@AOMilvado Thanks man! Early in the video I threw the tactical anglers sea pencil, yo zuri hydro pencil, and the outkast pencil.. all with no luck. The plug I switched to was the 7” Doc, which is technically a spook style plug. If I had to guess, the action of the doc as well as the color were triggering the strikes. The Doc also has a loud rattle which may have helped also.
@AOMilvadoАй бұрын
Excellent!!!
@dutchkayaker246210 күн бұрын
@@tidalquestI'll need to fish my Doc more often. That was some crazy action you had on it. Put an inline circle hook on the end since you took off the treble. 4/0 inline works great.

That drag is way too loose. I heard it slip earlier on a cast. Then slipped every time you set or pumped the rod. No good. Thats why you lost some fish
@tidalquestАй бұрын
@@ltbassmansupo4095 I totally agree. Tighter drag would’ve got a few more fish. Was trying to horse them in quickly and didn’t want to go too tight.
