what size is the crochet hook?

1.5 mm crochet hook and 2mm velvet yarn. You can also use cotton yarn. The pattern is for 2mm yarn size

I had to undo my whole bird, because no where did it say to add the eyes. Not a great pattern to follow.

Love the tutorial and your cockatiel, what yarn is preferred to make it small, I believe 4 worsted weight would make a cocatoo. Thanks
