Imo without Void we wouldn't have D.R.I., Septic Death, Infest or even the "powerviolence" genre in the '90s.

Saw these support the stranglers and I've never seen a support act bomb as badly they had props and they were all breaking on the stage. They commited to it to be fair and stagged on through the bewilderment and boos

Eternally grateful that a friend alerted me to this when it was released back in the early '90's. It's a prized possession.

This record completely embodies what punk rock truly was, and that was angry suburban kids who wanted to make their own rock music.

Jay Reatard was a killer drummer too, yet could play guitar and bass and keyboards just as well. His voice was just the best tho: definitely hear the Rockn’roll of old time Memphis in his delivery. Like a Rockn’roll fiend returned to the world in anger!

Ty blows my mind, he's so prolific yet I love everything he's released. I'm listening to Fuzz a lot more these days but Ty's last 3 solo albums, Freedom's Goblin, First Taste and Harmonizer are exceptional recordings.

It's sad that Kurt, Layne Staley, and John Fruscente from RHCP all died messing around with that needle and were friends and STILL chose to get fucked up . 😔 sad to say but unworthy of our worship, that's fucking cowardly. Sorry
