To travel with multiple birds, you need to get at least 2 tickets of first A.C and request to get the coupe well in advance. If 3 or more people traveling in first A.C, then you'll automatically get a whole cabin to yourself.

I usually travel with a single bird - Tweety, and she's usually very quiet, especially during travels. And of course you can book an entire coupe if you buy 4 tickets of first class. Also if you buy 2 tickets of first A.C, and request for a coupe well before your travel date, you can get the coupe for 2 and travel comfortably with your birds.

Yes you can travel with your dear Mimi in any A.C compartment. Just get her registered on the Parivesh portal as mentioned in this video and after filling out the form, print the page and carry it with you. Apart from it, nothing needs to be done. Still you can talk to the Parcel department at the station before boarding the train, just to be on the safer side. Happy travels 💖

I don't think that is a good idea. Please only bath your bird with plane lukewarm waters. I just care about her and wan't her to be healthy and safe. Am sure your a good owner, she seems happy and well taken care of. I just ask you maybe don't do this:) ❤

Thanks for your concern 💗 I'm also feeling bad for the yellow tint on her plumage, although she's perfectly healthy and the itching actually reduced. I'll not bathe her with freshly ground turmeric again, and stick to the occasional sprays of water mixed with a pinch of organic turmeric powder, which doesn't leave any yellow stain. For daily baths, I provide her, her own tiny bathtub and she takes a good bath on her own.

Thanks for your concern 💗 I don't actually feed her raw turmeric, it's the bath with raw ground turmeric mixed in water that caused the temporary colour change. I can assure you, she's perfectly safe 😊

Sorry, I don't have any idea. You need to ask at the station. Local trains are too crowded and hot, so it is not advisable to carry any birds, as they will get badly stressed

I have an Indian Ring Necked Parrot. We found him injured on our rooftop probably attacked by crows. Since then we've undetaken this act to care for him. Is it possible to take him on a train ?

Did a great job by rescuing that poor bird in need 👍💗 for Indian parrots you need to take a permission or a certificate stating that you rescued this bird. By the 1972 Act, Indian birds are not supposed to be kept as pets in India. Once you have such a permission, surely you can travel with it and keep it safely with you. All the best 👍

I'm not sure if pets are allowed in sleeper class. I was told only first A.C allows pets with permission. But I've traveled with my bird in 2nd A.C as well

😃 you don't want to be mean to your bird, as then they can get very nasty 😈...but I get you, I do give her time out by not letting her play with us, avoid interaction or put her back into her cage (on rare occasions) if she gets bity. This was an example of keeping her entertained, when she's too clingy and not letting us do anything.

I'm not sure. But I think you may, but make sure you have a sturdy travel cage with a cover. Finches are too small and delicate, so travelling with them long distance during summers might not be advisable. Take care of your birds

Please check with the parcel department before departure once. Even if you don't it's fine. Just carry the print of the application on Parivesh portal or a certificate from the vet, to be on the safer side. Travelling in first class shouldn't be of any trouble at all. I'm sure you love Mushu a lot. But I'm sorry, I don't have any information about travelling safety with an Indian parrot. As I've already mentioned in the video, any Indian parrot species is not allowed to keep as pets in India, and it's a very old (1972) law. So if you plan to travel with your bird, it will be best done by road, and make sure no police personnel see him, or else they might confiscate him 😢 I wish you and Mushu all the very best 👍

@@Saivlogs86Great if you have already got the permission from the parcel department. Hope you told them that it's an Indian ringneck parrot to avoid any confusion. If everything is clarified, then please carry a carrier cage with a proper cover to make sure that the ticket checker doesn't see the bird just to be on the safer side. Travelling by 1st A.C coupe is best 👍

Yes, of course you can travel with her by train. First class coupe is best. But any first class or A.C chair car is just fine. Just make sure you have a travel cage for traveling purpose, and a comfortable cage cover (always leave ventilation gap) You should have taken the printout of the Parivesh portal's application form after filling it up. I never got the registration certificate, and I did it 1.6 year ago. I'm also from Kolkata. Wish you all the best traveling with Pokai 👍❤️

Absolutely NOT. Alexandrine parakeet or parrots are Native to India, hence prohibited 🚫 by law to keep caged or as pets. You cannot travel with them anywhere, if seen by any police or government officials, the birds will be confiscated and you will be fined. Fine and imprisonment is also possible. I also love Indian parrots the best, but can't keep them as pets, as it's against Indian law. Only pegions are allowed.

Looks like our little birdie is suffering from curly toes. Its due to vitamin B deficiency. Riboflavin diet can cure. You can feed him some crushed almonds ocassionally mixed in its usual diet. One of my birds had the same problem. The sooner you start its better
