I like the idea of this boat, but can't decide between a Gheenoe or a Towee. I want to put oars on a small boat like this and back row, and I need to make sure the bottom is solid enough to bounce off of rocks. Does anyone set their Gheenoe up like a Towee Calusa or Scout?

I've owned 2 of the 15, Footers & they are Freaking Awesome !! I, weight 200Lbs. & I could stand on the side of the inside of the Hull & Bounce testing the stability & try as I may I could Never get it to Flip over the Stability is like SOME kinda Black Magic !! Compared to my Jon boat that's 4 Ft, Wide & 12 Ft. Long youd think it would be more stable but instead it's like a Surf board I gave it away, The Jon boat that is a fellow My size it was a POS !! I, Highly Recommend the GHEENOE in whatever size You, Will Not be Disappointed !! I'm, Ordering a SUPER 16, Now to Fish the Bayou's & Bay Here in Destin Florida, its perfect for the Brackish water I, fish for Redfish, Sea Trout, & Flounder. & it's like the Boat was Taylormade for my application, a Friend of Mine uses his to Duck Hunt & it's a Great again Stable Platform to shoot from, I, cant say enough Good about them & there Priced to fit Most Folks Budget... Get One You'll See.. I'm Sure , that anyone with Experience will ABSOLUTELY AGREE !!!!

I FINALLY got one!!!!! It's an early 80's 13ft. I traded a 35 horsepower Evinrude for it. It needs some love and some massaging a little bit of fiberglass the whole lot of paint. But by this time next year I'm going to have the damnfastest most perfect fish killing machine that God ever put on the planet!!!!! I wouldn't take a hold bar for mine!!!!!!

I have never met a Boat I didn't LOVE. I have had several. I still have my first. 16 Mohawk Canoe but I also have a 21 SUNDANCE & a 21 CAPE HORN O/S I was Spearfishing =Scuba - Snapper Fishing lots of Boating but I have always wanted one of these. Just to Ride in the Delta or Lake & do it on a little Gas.
