the ignorance here, the odds of getting trapped under the boat vs getting thrown, do you even boat? and 2 guys where going for a top end run in a redline boat (they are big boy boats) crashed at 140!!! one lived one died, guess which guy was wearing a vest?

At that speed the life jacket would only be so they can locate the body. A lot of those guys use the auto-inflate vest.

Dude in the marroon/red boat isn't very smart. Going those speeds without a life jacket on, is just plain stupid.
