I find it really hard to listen to Jordan Stephenson and I know this was 5 years ago so I hope and guessing he has matured alot more since this but he always gives this overal impression that he's got it "going on",that he's the "cool cat" whose "sorted" and never shows any vulnerability whatsoever,he always knows what to say,how to "look cool"and I never ever really believe him,he's too damn cool for school. I just don't believe the personna that he puts across...professor Greene though I believed and related to loads about his anxiety and depression but Jordan doesn't give anything away and everything is a laugh or joke to him it seems.

When asked a therapist what trauma caused my PTSD, she said, "All of it." My "it" is nowhere near what soldiers go through. Documentary on TV about military program for PTSD, the main guy (out West USA fishing ranch place), said PTSD is a different journey with the same destination. I look forward to reading J.Fox's book. He makes a lot of sense in interviews.

When men are no longer shamed for childhood trauma then perceived compounded trauma things can begin to change. Men treat their girl children differently sometimes because they don't understand what being a girl is. Men who have been bullied and abused in childhood or tough love treatment is improperly used and then they are told to tough it out without having the right information to tough it out Will have problems until they ask the right people for help.

I don't mind any of these things and I wouldn't consider them red flags. If someone is awkward while eating it's probably just nerves. I try to comfort and reassure them. Eating spareribs? Not a fan of spareribs, however, go do it! Be sticky. Have a face covered in gravy. Laugh about it together. It'll lay a base for some fun moments and fun moments create connection. Talking about exes is not a no-go for me. Past relationships, especially the most recent one usually, are a very big part of how you got to where you are. Sometimes ex partners may have died, or there may have been infidelity involved. People may adress this to set boundaries or to let the other person know what they are setting themselves up for. Let people get it out of their system. They need to vent it so they feel seen and understood. Let them show their pain, vulnerability and brokenness. As long as they don't ruminate on the subject or turn it into a full-blown therapy session it's all good. They know that not everyone is out to hurt them, or they wouldn't be on this date to begin with. Let them vent. Let the moment exist, understand that your date is a human being with human emotions, insecurities and fears. If they feel seen and heard, they'll be much more open to connect with you and trust you. Personally, I hate dates that stick to small talk because they're afraid of no-go's like these. Why would you want to tone down your personality or act like someone you're not? The whole point is for them to either like you for who you are, or move on to the next. Be authentic people! Just don't wear crocs, okurrrrr?

I used to get a lot of dick pics back in the day so I would scribble on them with doodle art on my phone and send them back. Sometimes I post them on Facebook with a backstory. I don't think they liked that too much but oh well, I saw opportunity.
