The roster in 2.2 is weak, it might be bigger than the roster in 2.1 but does that even matter when the only fun characters to play are Sonic, Metal and Tails. As a time attack enthusiast, the roster (knuckles, amy and fang) lacks depth which makes them not as fun as Sonic, the BASE CHARACTER
