Are there any ethical hunters left, or only people who use animals for target practice?
@paulhomsy27514 ай бұрын
Typical. pass on the good shot to make a video and take a chance on a shot where you can wound and lose a suffering animal. Why didn't you take the shot you had for quite a few seconds at first before the bear moved ??

doesn't anybody know about the Quaternary extinction, and that North America used to have a collection of large mammals far greater than that of Africa. What difference does a couple of remnant species like Elk and Grey Wolf make at this point? there hasn't been wilderness in North America for 10,000 years

I hope this isn’t a grey wolf because they are in danger, i in-fact hate wolf hunting itself, its disgusting. If u are in danger, but need to kill the wolf to protect yourself it’s reasonable. But hunting a wolf thats minding its own business is something that i personally don’t like.
@TrippWhitney328 Жыл бұрын
They kill everything elk beaver deer just anything the grey wolf kills so now hunting elk is now not possible for a limited time because they wolves have killed A lot of them so we need to kill them

Actually they are not endangered in Idaho at all. Just the opposite, we have far too many. And gry wolves are the worst. If they were timber wolves, that would be better, they were actually native to here. Grey wolves are far bigger monsters. And they kill for sport; out of instinct. They commonly leave rotting carcasses

Wolf hunting disgusts me, but If ur going to do that, please don’t hunt gray/grey wolfs. They are endangered and its population is slowly stabling.

Help control the population. The animals that are here now didn't even know what a wolf was when they were reintroduced. They have decimated animal populations because of that. Of course, all of it is human fault, but reintroducing wolves was not the answer. They should have kept them contained.
@sheilahitchcock74672 жыл бұрын
Hunting. All the trickery used to bring the Wolves in range. Not hunting. Just a moron human that woke up and first thought was to murder a hapless near extinct wonderful and beautiful Wolf. M effers like this mountain bike riding POS did not hunt...they tricked to induce concern from a non human that had a soul for compassion. Karma awaits bastards like this.

So, you can kill more wolfs in those critical seconds you have when they come go kill a Coyote then tan the hide then mount it for a decoy to set by the caller and you need to be standing out of site like use a tree. You can also mount a wolf for a decoy the same as robot deer used by the cops, that would get the pack all pissed off by hearing the sounds then see a wolf not part of their pack! The wolves are coming to the sound then see the coyote or wolf decoy that will keep them there longer. You have to keep yourself out of site to get more shots on the wolfs because just look at a few of those wolf's when they see you, they bolted. You even get some camo fabric like camo bed sheet to hang up using close tins for you to stand behind to break up your body out line.

This another wolf hunting video I have watched the AR 15 or AR 10 would have dominated those wolfs! What I see also again the AR 15 or AR 10 with quick release scope then keep open sites with you to fast change from scope to open sites would be very valued. I have my 4 AR 15 uppers set up for quick change scope to open sites and back again and the same for the AR 10 I have with 3 uppers can be changed fast from scope to open sites and back again. I wonder the toughness of these wolfs? how hard are they to kill for judging the smallest sized rifles to use? I would give a try for wolves with my AR 15 in 6mm x45 because I load up to 100 grain bullets in it and for my AR 10 out of 3 caliber uppers, I would use the 6 mm -284 win for light recoil to stay on target after firing. I wish someone would make a video where to start looking for wolf's what part of the state and share that info. The more wolf's killed the better for managing the wolf's.

A quick google search will turn up several maps showing where many of the packs' ranges are as well as which counties have had the most wolf damage (to both wildlife and livestock). I would recommend going to those counties and locate the wolves, then move in and set up on them. Concerning an AR set-up. I agree I wish more guys would use AR's for wolf hunting as I believe this guy could have easily killed several more. However, I would disagree about removing the scope in the field while hunting. I understand changing the scope between uppers however there is no need to "fast change" as you put it while hunting. Instead consider using and offset sight mount and then you can simply and quickly tilt your rifle inward and use iron sights or a red dot. This makes the transition super quick. Anyway, good luck to you in the future.

AR is the only way. I would have been mauled to death if it weren't for my AR15. After shooting one the others kept charging at me. It was neck hair raising being surrounded by them. If I had a bolt action I wouldn't be here typing this. Wolves are freaking bold, 10 years ago I don't remember then being this bold. If I shot one the rest would retreat. Last year was different they kept charging in intervals every few minutes. I never been so scared in my life. AR15 is the only way for me. Don't risk your life out there.

@q-petebassin25572 жыл бұрын
I agree with this style of hunting. I personally believe wolves belong is Idaho to balance the ecosystem, but when things get to unbalanced, that’s when the hunters come in. I think Idaho had 1600 wolves but in my opinion it should be maybe down to 800-1000 to keep everything stabpe
@TrippWhitney328 Жыл бұрын

yeah it's a chain effect, the wolves will kill elk and reproduce a higher number of wolves which leads to them overhunting the elk and then the wolf population will starve to death
