Do you maybe know why I have hyper flash in my turn signal mirrors? The headlight turn indicators themselves don’t hyper flash, after installing them, both side mirror indicators hyper flash and the error code in the screen shows both are out

Great info but why didn't you do the high beams also? I'm looking to get these and just checking if there is an issue with the high beams.

@@bsbatterton7009 honestly I don’t remember now lol. I ended up swapping the stock housings for morimotos a little while later. But honestly I was very happy with the output of the low beams and fogs, I’m sure the high beams would’ve been good too. I did run into a small issue with the fogs, after snow and salt one quit working but it was warrantied

@@zstampe After I wear out the stock sized tires tires, I'm looking at the same size upgrade for mine. My 2018 will be paid for soon (got it used in 2021) then Its mod time. Nothing crazy, Just some stuff to help me and my son in law get to and from our ground blind.

Sounds fantastic with that Injen! Except for small lift, rims, and 33" ridge grapplers my 2.7 has been stock for 6 years 😂. This video convinced me to buy the Injen intake with black Friday deals. I'm sure the mic in your video doesn't do its quality justice. Is it obnoxious with just normal cruising around and commuting? Thats my only concern. Like i want the aggressive spooling sounds when im hammering on it (the others dont have this remarkable spooling), but subdued under traditional everyday commuting. Thoughts?

@@ModernMan23 hey man thanks for the comment first. No I don’t think it’s obnoxious at all. I do wish my mic would’ve picked up the sound better. I commute daily, up and downhill and I don’t think it’s obnoxious at all. I think you’d like it. For example, my wife and I ran errands right after install and she didn’t notice the difference at all, trust me if there’s something to complain about she will lol.

@zstampe haha SAME! I saw a video of a guy measuring ambient air temperature inside stock vs this injen intake. The injen actually kept temps lower than factory somehow so that's good to know. No CEL or codes? Thx for your content, sub'd!

Have you ever checked to see how much oil you drained from your car? the K5 holds 5 qt or 4.8L oil, are you sure that you are getting all the old oil out? Since your car's front end is up on the ramps and rear on flat ground, your engine is not sitting level and old oil may be trapped in some areas while positioned on an incline.

@@12BLXKE they don’t make them for the 2018 and up trucks is the thing. The changed the turbo design on the gen 2 engines so they don’t whistle nearly as much

How do you aim them and know where to put them? Did you have to turn DRL setting off like you did other headlights?

@@thetankie29ify you can aim them just like stock headlights it’s super easy. I just put them about where my factory beams were. If you leave the DRLs on the low beams will be on when the DRLs were so I turned mine off in the settings on gauge cluster

i know you have the truck now, but i just installed the shark racing intake and it sounds and feels perfect. But occasionally when the pressure is being released from the turbo, i hear a squeaking clunking kinda sound. Have you had this happen to you?
