Are the seams left in the Emissary supposed to be there to look like the bark or will I need to break out the putty to fill them? Also, thank you for doing this model, I've been hesitating putting this model together but I think I'll give it a try now.
@ArtefactorsUnion11 күн бұрын
I don't worry about seams as I try to pump these out quickly (and seeing them helps others with assembly). With smaller stuff, I can usually fill it with 'squishing' the connection enough times that melted plastic fills the gap, or ripping the bit off mid-cure and shaving down the parts that were actually connected. I know bigger Wyrd models tend to have more noticeable gaps, though, so going straight for the gap filler may be your best bet.

The piece at 10:13 looks like the end of a crossbow because you can see the track where the bolt is placed on.

Weird that the Freikorps have a crossbow lying around, but you're right. It really does look like one.

out of individual boxes with multiple minis, or do you mean out of all the stuff I've assembled?

@ I think out of what you have assembled. It would be a great video for new builders or people unfamiliar with malifaux models.

These minis look absolutely boring.
@ArtefactorsUnionАй бұрын
I mean yeah that's kind of the point. They're somewhat normal people. The rest of the keyword gets a bit jazzier like the Gunsmiths, Captain, and Howard Langston, but it gives the same vibe as the Imperial Guard. It makes it even funnier that they are the most defensive, tanky crew in the game as long as you can keep them relatively close to each other.

The bit coming off the larger arm of the third Madness was the last part for me. I had completely missed the flat bit in the wrist and was going on just the exploded diagram. I thought it was supposed to go on the back of the arm somewhere. Once I realized it was a real PITA to get in there!

Just marvelous, very informative,thanx. Awhile ago I got 'Open Grave' box. They seem very small compared to your boxers. Have you come across them?

I believe 'Open Graves' was a 2nd edition box containing a character that has since died and isn't available for competitive play in 3rd edition.

This video is great - After pausing, restarting, and rewatching this video close to twenty times, I can confidently say I finished this kit with only two broken pieces, three missing ones that needed to be replaced by Wyrd, and two complete screwups, and all in just two months! But seriously, thank you for making this video, it was really, really helpful.
@balysnarbutas96355 ай бұрын
Thank you, good sir. If not for your video, that Pandora would have suffered from a serious temper tantrum and flown through the window! I assemble and paint miniatures for more than two decades, but I have never ever been so frustrated with a model until this version of Pandora. Wyrd Games could definitely learn a thing or two about assembly instructions from other manufacturers.
@ArtefactorsUnion5 ай бұрын
I know they're a small crew (30ish people?) and the manufacturer dictates the sprue breakdown. I'm not saying they couldn't put more resources into instructions but I don't know their operations so I thought I'd put my skills to good use and help the game I genuinely love.
