Thank you for sharing this. When I got my epidural, the anesthesiologist mentioned the headache risk, but acted like it was very rare, if they happened they could easily fix it with a blood patch. I wasn’t really sure I believed him, but thankfully I didn’t have any ill affects afterwards from that one. But now I’m pregnant again, this is why I don’t want to get an epidural. I would way rather be in pain before the baby, and know there’s an endpoint, then risk being debilitated afterwards, but I’m sure the hospital will act like I’m silly to be worried about this.

Today is aug 5th, 2023. I just got a spinal tap 4 days ago to draw some cerebrospinal fluid for testing. The doctor is a neurologist who used to be a anesthesiologist. She poked me twice. Now i get mild headache when i sit up or stand. It makes me little bit nauseous too. I don't know how long this will persist. I will try to sit through pain tomorrow and see if it gets better. Will keep you guys updated. Best wishes to all.
