Yes. At first, it was pretty stiff. But over time, it got better.

how's the knife holding up? the zen pins specifically, have they worn out? is the latch damaging the handle?

So far, it's holding up well for me. And the latch doesn't seem to be damaging the handles. But keep in mind I don't do any tricks or flip it a lot, so someone else might have a different experience. ^w^

i love the way it looks but there are a few things i don't like about it and so i looked for something similar and ended up buying a Böker Plus Kwaiken Air Jade G10 01BO343, Lucas Burnley design. and i love that knife!

I love how positive you are with these kinds of knives You just KNOW that a lot of the big knife review channels would eat this particular knife alive, but never stop to consider that this thing was likely made to be a fun design. Really good video

I appreciate the advice, but I don't want to be like all the other knife/EDC channels. I want to stand out, do something different, and fun. Civivi uses 110 steel layers for their Damascus.The Bladesmith Union doesnt reconize anything under 600 layers as the real deal.I do own one and its in my edc rotation.

I've carried this one for the past couple of months. It is too small for an effective EDC. The sheepsfoot blade is not that functional either, at least not for me. The next size up, Compact CEO flipper, however, is perfect.

I have a voyager as my EDC. It got really hard to open so I took it apart. The bronze washer next to the metal liners actually caused galvanic corrosion. The nylon ones are roached and the bronze ones are heavily corroded. I went and bought replacement nylon washers at Ace hardware and didn’t bother with bronze washers.

It's an excellent knife. I have the serrated version of it too. If you want an all around use knife that you can beat the HELL out of, you're not gonna do better than the Marauder, at ANY price!!! Great video... And they're cheaper now!

Great little back up knife. Super slicey hollow grind. Rubbing alcohol to remove tape residue, and glass cleaner for general cleaning is recommended for blade and scales. If you oil the blade coating it may help where the chemical stained. Windex or Glass plus is safe for micarta, g10, aluminum, titanium, pretty much anythiing. The Lumi is pretty under-rated in my opinion. Would probably work well for self defense in a pinch. My only complaint is it's so small and light mine has gone through the washing machine a few times. Lol.

FTR, under the barcode on the side of the box it says “Product of China.” That doesn’t bother me but what does is CRKT’s insistence on using super low budget steels on their knives. 12C is better than many of their offerings but at $60 there is no reason why this couldn’t be 14C or better. At least it’s not 1.4116 used on the compact. I looked up the stats and that is 100% trash steel for a $30 knife let alone the $50 they’re asking for the compact. Regardless, I really dig shirt pocket knives and will most likely order this microflipper with the sheepsfoot. Just ordered the marble carbon fiber/S35V Compact from CRKT today and while $115 is silly for these materials the knife is one of the few sub $200 premium shirt knives you can buy. It’s pretty damn cool and I’m not bothered by the asking price since no one else is doing it at all. Ok, Boker sort of is but they are of such poor quality I sent my exclusive Kaizen in S35V back. It was laughably bad and will not buy another Boker in the future. Not all Bokers are door stops but since many/most are there is no pride of ownership in that brand so it’s just a hard pass every time from here on out.

@@damascusthefox back when I was in college a little more than a decade ago, I trained in Contemporary Jeet Kune Do---about a third of the curriculum was Kali. I remember the other students had the Spartan because our instructor recommended it for self defense carry. I could never afford one since I was broke lol, but my wife bought me one about two years ago. I adore this thing, I bought her the Rajah 3 as a thank you lol

It's my beater for work and sometimes I keep it on me on long jogs Edit: in case you're the "Let's Dive In!!" type of collector, the Arrow or Sting is the one to go with. I have both and I don't leave the house without one or the other

The flipper model is best.. The thumb stud version is well hardest to open I’ve ever seen on a thumb stud knife.. Stick with the flipper

I have three Cold Steel knives in the same general price range, Finn Wolf, Bush Ranger Lite & Pro Lite that are excellent quality knives. Their 1911 looks awful.
