That one girls vibrato is killing the overtones. This should be sung straight tone to bring out the razor sharp overtones

I took private composition lessons with Harold Boatrite in the early 80s before attending college. I took lessons from a lot of teachers, but no one came close to Mr. Boatrite. This is such a wonderful find; such an incredibly beautiful piece.

For those who do not know Old Slavonic, the repeated "Uslyshy mya" is "Hear me, Hear me Lord!" Lord- I call to you! Hear me! Amen!
