Hallo Bert, bin durch Zufall auf Deine YT seite gestossen. Ja, hat mich auch sehr mitgenommem - Jo war ein guter Freund. Gut dass Du den 1000MP hast und er nicht irgendwo verkauft wurde. Ich war so halbherzig seit einiger Zeit mit Jo in Verhandlung ihm das Ding abzukaufen, da ich meinen (bestes Radio das ich jemals hatte!) kurz vor Covid verkauft hatte. Leider kam dann "Unverhofft" so schnell - RIP Jo! War ein guter Freund und 40m ist nicht mehr dasselbe! Gruss aus England Guenter. G0DKO

Hallo Gunter ja ich bin auch froh das ich seine Station in Ehren halten darf ....und ich kann dir sagen es ist fuer mich auch sehr schwer auch auf dem 40 Meter band es ist nicht mehr das selbe mir fehlt da jetzt ein halte punkt Jo und ich waren ja meistens die jenigen die fuer gute Verbindungen und QSO's gesorgt haben aber jetzt fehlt meine andere haelfte und ich versuche auf 40 Meter immer noch fuer gute QSO's zu sorgen und viele kommen auch auf mich zu und sprechen gerne mit mir was ich auch schoen finde ich versuche es einfach hoch zu halten was Wir begonnen sind, was nicht immer leicht ist.....ich danke Dir fuer deine Liebe reaction und sage mal vy 73 wir hoeren uns wieder auf dem 40 meter Band Guenter ( G0DKO ) wuerde mich sehr freuen ....👍

Danke, nun weis ich was auf mich zukommt - falls ich meine 1200ér mal reinigen muss. Ich betreibe meine PA übrigens mit folgenden Zusatzlüftern -> "ELUTENG USB Lüfter 140mm 5V 2 in 1 mit 3 Einstellbare Geschwindigkeiten, Doppelt USB Computer Ventilator 140mm PC Lüfter 14mm mit 8 Stoßdämpfenden Füßen für PS5 PS4/Laptop/TV Box/Router" Damit habe ich selbst bei Digimodes kein Temperaturproblem und die PA bleibt "relativ" leise.

Definitiv. Und eine ACOM 1200S, die bei 10 Watt Imputt bereits ~ 900 Watt Output macht - ist leider defekt, denke ich. ...und ...wer soll das kontrollieren wenn bereits mit QRP 1kW "on the air" geht. Das liegt daran das zuvor mit zu hoher Steuerleistung (ggf. Vorgänger beim Gebrauchtkauf) angesteuert wurde (i.d.R. ja) Leider. Dieser Defekt ist kostengünstig durch ACOM zu beheben. PS. Die beiden NXP-Transistoren (NXP 1K80) in der aktuellen 1200er können sehr viel ab =nahezu das Beste derzeit auf dem Markt. Aber eine "unregulierte" Antsueuerung nur auf kurze Zeit.

Danke für das Video! Ich habe dazu Fragen: Sind die CB Kanäle standardmäßig verfügbar? Dachte, es ist die AFU Version von Grant 2? Wie wirst Du damit FT8 machen? Es hat keine CAT Schnittstelle am Gerät. Etwa über VOX Steuerung? Sind die Umschaltzeiten da ausreichend? 73

Ja leider hat sie nicht lange gehalten war so sproede das Die Spreizer so gebrochen sind wie im Video zu sehen war ich wuerde mir so eine Antenne jedenfalls nicht mehr bei diesem Haendler und firma kaufen das aufstellen und wieder abbauen hat viel gekostet ob ich sie jemals wieder aufbauen werde steht noch in den Sternen werde sie restaurieren und dann wohl verkaufen....danke dir lieben Guenter Vy 73 de Bert PA5HR😥😥

Danke für Deinen Clip zur "President". Ich bin da auch ein wenig nostalgisch angehaucht und weis gute "Monobander" zu schätzen. Allerdings erschließt mir nicht der Sinn zur (nicht) Anschaffung eines wenig "teureren" YAESU FT-891 der diese "heiß gemachte" Kiste in jeder Disziplin um Längen schlagen kann :-)

Hallo robinhood ich denke das ist nicht moeglich weil es die Export version ist und viel Leistung macht bis zu 80 Watt und das ist nicht erlaubt auch das du auf Frequenzen senden kannst die fuer den algemein Funk nicht zulessig sind also ein klares nein..vy 73 de Bert

@@maro3973Es gibt auch "echte" Afu Trx, die ein hohes Grundrauschen mitbringen. Ich sehe die Nachteile solcher Trx nicht im Empfangsteil, sondern in dem Betriebssystem an sich. Auf der Suche nach Stationen im 10 oder 12m Band will ich keinen Kanalschalter mit grober Rastung bedienen. Sondern einen VFO Knopf mit feiner leichtgängiger Rastung. Schön aussehen tut das Teil dennoch. Und für z.B. 10m FM Relais ist sowas Prima!

Den hatte ich ende der 90er um die 600DM damals gekostet und habe ihn jetzt im sehr guten gebraucht Zustand für 50€ bekommen für Amateurfunk und Air Band sehr gut ausreichend, das Drehrad ist auch sehr Praktisch und die Alphanumerische Beschriftung der war für 1998/99 seiner Zeit voraus. 73 aus Nordost Deutschland in die Niederlande.

H Bert another very informative tutorial of the use of the FX775, nice video. In Setup enable Set Alarm for SWR and Set to 2.0 or 2.5 SWR so if you have error or problem with antenna (more importantly if using FX7 coupler Antenna Switch 4 in 1) outside you will know instantly straight away of the problem on any antenna especially if using an Amplifier on any f the 4 antennas. 73 Mike M0MGX

Hi Bert, great video on the Fx775 of information and install, hope you very pleased with it's functions, PEP, AVG power and Z,R, and X showing real time readouts of the antenna, plus much more information. You use to speak english on your old videos, not no more, your english is very good, anyway your station is amazing really like your content. Which was precisely the reason I purchased the ACom 1010 for my shack 👌🧐 I also have the FX775 with FX3 coupler, plus FX7 4 in 1 antenna switch connected by CAT 6 Shielded ethernet cable from FX7 to the 1st Ethernet plug on the FX775 and use the Switch icon (FX775 front panel) to Select antenna 1,2,3,4 all working very well, may setup is FTDX 10 to Microham Keyer 3 24 bit audio processor, to MFJ 1708B SDR to RSPA1a to Amplifier Acom 1010 (2024) model to FX775 and FX3 to LDG AT-1000Pro 11 atu to FX7 4 in 1 antenna switch to 1. DX Commander Classic 40,30,20,17,15,12,10m and 2. 1kW UK Antenna EFHW 80-10m and 3. Smaller antennas and lastly position 4. EFHW 400w 40-10m switching is digitally done by the connection FX775 by CAT 6 Shielded Ethernet cable to (3m away form FX775) FX7. Hello my Friend Mike thank you for your nice Comment, yes my older Video's was in English but in the Future i wil make some more in English and German or Dutch but hope you have seen the Information about the FX775 and yes it is a very good Station Monitor and i wil work in the Future with all the possebility's what the FX775 brings with the Antenna switch and so on....am very glad with this Meter works realy fine and the Display is very Clear and good for my Eyes....The screen is very big and that makes it easy to see all information there. Absolutely. It has IF DSP which is excellent for filtering. It helps pull those contacts in when conditions are noisy. It has a real signal meter. This is important to many operators. It also has knobs for many common features that more modern rigs have buried in menus. I like big radios and I cannot lie. I’m looking at a pro 2 or 3 in the near future.

@@nigelb5341 that’s exactly the position I’m in. I’ve had a 7300 for over a year and have wanted to fall in love with it but I miss my old analog rig too much. I think I’m going to sell the 7300 and get one of these because it seems to be that perfect blend of analog and digital. I should be head over heels in love with 7300, but the heart wants what the heart wants!

Oha bei den wenigen betrieb schon 51°C, da stimmt bestimmt was nicht d.h. wird schnell zu warm. Schaue mal nach, meiner wird nach eine 1/2 std cw mit 1000W keine 47°C

Hi There thanks for the Question but i can say these Caps for the Micro's i made it selfs i use the Caps from my Studio Mic's and made it a bit bigger for use with the M-1 i don't know is there a chance to buy some caps for these Micro's otherwise you can buy some other caps and make them a bit bigger for the Head and than it looks very fine and works realy good. thanks again wish you all the best and vy73 de Bert PA5HR...👍👍

I am disappointed that Yaesu didn't incorporate a backlight for the display with an on/off button. Leaves me feeling shortchanged considering the effort they put into the radio displays, let alone the cost!

Danke für dieses Video :-) Mein "MP" macht in der "7-Watt-Stellung" auf 40 Meter gut 9 Watt PEP (geeicht gemessen). Auf 80 Meter tendentiell noch mehr + "Overshoot" = da muss ich sehr vorsichtig ansteuern, sonnst kommt die Schutzschaltung meiner ´700S wegen zu hoher Ansteuerleistung.

Hi Bert , ik heb het fenomeen met mijn ft710 dat de amp acom 1010 onmiddelijk in tx gaat , de kabel is goed , die is doorgemeten , enig idee wat het probleem hier kan zijn ? in het menu is de ext tuner aangepast naar liniair .Mvg Didier ON8YB
