Once again Mr. Zimmer taking the glory for a song he didn’t write, like 99% of his catalog…..and what the hell is Tina doing playing the solo?? Why didn’t call Steve Stevens?? Your moral Mr. Zimmer is the lowest I’ve ever seen in the industry…..Tina is great and a good cellist, but she will never be a rockstar like Steve Stevens and wether you like it or not, YOU DIDNT COMPOSES TOP GUN SOUNDTRACK…..

It's understandable to feel strong about authenticity and credit in music compositions, especially with iconic pieces like the "Top Gun" anthem. Hans Zimmer is known for his contributions to film scoring, but it’s important to recognize Harold Faltermeyer's original work on this particular score. As for Tina Guo playing the solo, bringing in different instrumental talents can offer a new interpretation, though it might not align with everyone's expectations of the classic rock guitar sound. It’s all part of how music evolves and is reinterpreted by different artists.

@@mejla6 Maybe because of seeing the movie but when I hear the opening (before it really get's going) I picture the jets taking off. When they're taking off it makes me feel so damn proud of the pilots, etc. for protecting the US. Like a of people, I had family members in the military. My paternal granfather was in WW1, his 2 older sons in the Army Air Corps in WW2. One was a ball turret gunner who flew over 30 missions. He had problems when he came home. My father was USMC in Korea. He had a cousin shot down by the Luftwaffe over France. He was KIA and is buried in France. I didn't mean to go on. 🙂 🇺🇸

I can only imagine the rider for Tina Guo. * Enough fans to make Tina's hair blow during her cello solo. * No other band members' hair must blow; only Tina's is allowed to move in the wind. Watch it again, and you'll see Tina's hair blowing. Bell Girl's hair doesn't move a bit and she's not more than 5 or 6 feet away. Hans's hair doesn't move either, and he's standing right next to Tina. Well, not that he has a lot to begin with, but still!
@mejla6
@mejla6 25 күн бұрын
That's a hilarious observation! The special effects for performances can sometimes be as detailed as the music itself. It does add a touch of drama and visual flair that makes live performances so captivating. Did the dramatic wind effect enhance your enjoyment of Tina's performance?

I was going to watch this anyway but I got really curious when I saw the comment about interesting bell ringing. I'm thinking wtf Zimmer is keyboards, then the video starts playing and I start laughing 😂😂 and agreeing. Then the cello player begins and all I can think is she can rosin my bow anytime. Sorry, but someone had to say it. 👏👏👍

It sounds like the theatrical elements really caught your attention and added some humor to your viewing experience! The dynamics between different performers, like the bell ringing and Tina on the cello, can really transform a concert into something more than just a musical performance. It's all about that mix of talent and stage presence! How did the rest of the performance measure up for you after such an intriguing start?
