Thank you for the education. I was worried about this process, and it really turned me off from expanding and acquiring larger live stock. He really didn't even react to the band. I'm surprised. It's definitely much nicer on the calf than I was expecting. I appreciate the vid.

This is absolutely horrible those poor baby calves do you even give them any sort of pain reliever? So awful I hope you feel good about yourself hurting an innocent animal like that you sicko.

That’s the most humane process...I’ve seen people cutting 900 lb bulls with no local anesthetic and they think that’s ok. It’s insane putting an animal through that kind of torture.

And it should be illegal

Dang. You make it look easy. After you get both scrotum and testicles through the tool and band, do you position the band as close to the testicles as possible before removing the tool? Also, do you have a video showing where you place the tag in the ear?

I am having a heck of a time banding our 2 day old calf. I can get 1 in but not both! He is so calm with me but it's like one is in the belly and won't come down! Any advice for a newbie? Should I wait a few more days to try again? Thanks for any help you have!

24 hours? What about the tetanus shot? I have my first pair and i have a bull calf. He is about 9 weeks old. I was told i needed to give him a tetanus shit 2 weeks beforehand and then a booster about a month later.

Atta Boy BRB! 👍 190 missin' mice divided by Rattle Snakes `n sech per mouse = how many starved ass to death Rattlers? You do the math... You a smart young feller. (leave `em Black snakes alone too, they can eat a young Timber Rattler.)

I recently moved to a cattle farm with 200 head of cattle that’s been neglected. Not vaccinated, half the calves are blind due to pink eye, 12 month old calves are still nursing and being bred by the bull , or by last years unaltered calves, the moms being bred too. Now I know nothing about cows but something tells me that’s all wrong. And wheh I voiced my concern I was given the option to jump right in and castrate vaccinate and tag. This video didn’t freak me the heck out at all. Thank you and wish me luck lol
