I have a question about that they say that you shouldn't do this more than 8 cycles, this 4-7-8 techinques. Why is that? and then why this video is much longer, that consist much more than 8 breath cycles? Thanks in advance!
@HandsOnMeditationКүн бұрын
You shouldn’t be concerned about the exact number of cycles. Instead, listen to your body and work with a number that is comfortable for you.

This is not 4 - 7 - 8 breathing. If you measure it with chrono it's 7.13-13-14. This is extreem. Be aware of this. Do not exagerate with this exercise. I would advice max. 2 times a day for 10 minutes or 1 time for 15 minutes. More would bring you extreme in parasympathetic mode. Just be aware of this.
@HandsOnMeditation9 күн бұрын
The count is based on a ratio, it’s not seconds. You’re right, it is longer. There is a beginner version with a faster pace if you’d like to try that. There are also other variations on this channel of breathing exercises and meditations.

Would you reccomend uv light instead of ozone generator. For ozone generator, theres a reccomendatiom to drill thru the chest freezer . Was wondering if uv light will yield same results, less work involved
@HandsOnMeditation9 күн бұрын
I get the same results with UV light and no longer use Ozone.
@op144359 күн бұрын
@HandsOnMeditation thank you for the reply. I was planning ozone for the 16 cubit ches frreezer but will go with uv light. Seems like ozone can be dangerous and more costly.
@op144357 күн бұрын
@HandsOnMeditation I wanted to ask, does this uv light come with a pump and hose connection. I bought this uv light on Amazon but I currently have a marineland magnum pump/filtration system.

Its kinda too hard I cant exhale for 8 seconds any tips?

That’s normal when you first begin the exercise. With practice, it becomes easier. You should start with the learn abdominal breathing exercise on this channel and then try the beginner version of the 478 breathing exercise.

Great breathing exercise, but I felt like the pace was way too quick. I barely had enough time exhaling before the inhaling began again and it just completely threw me off multiple times. It felt like I was being rushed instead of relaxing.

Not a fan of holding the breath as it engages the sympathetic Nervous system

Understood. With practice, you can teach the sympathetic nervous system to calm down. You might enjoy one of the meditations instead of the breathing exercises, though this channel.

Wow! So I checked my blood pressure and it was high, and then I did this breathing excercise ans it dropped it by 10.points. incredible. Im going to implement this is my everyday life now. I guess we don't realize how stressed out body really is sometimes. And how much breathing helps. Also feel really relaxed.

❤😊 This breath hold technique is an excellent one, which gives me relaxed, focused mind. Moreover it is wonderful for your brain to activate those nerves and points where required oxygen is not reached. When I used this technique I experienced twitching on my face muscles which I only experienced in the chanting of Mahamrityunjay Mantra or ॐ. I would learn more as it seems scientific.
