Double cross is a crazy card yes since you can steal monsters to an evil twin zone. I honestly just never missed it... Turn 1, jet always grabs starter, and if I have starter already I search smashers. Turn 3 jet almost always grabs gamma burst to go for the kill which is why I never needed it.

S:P is an INSANE card for sure, I'm not sure what to cut yet myself though, but if you're keen on that engine I'd say noir and djinn buster. The I:P board requires an extra body to make the I:P +twin combo, requiring more resources, meaning you might have hands that don't make it. Right now I think the boards the deck makes as is are enough interruptions, and I value the flex spots in my ED a lot. The question is if you value toolbox or a crazier board.

I would say both cards have their pros and cons. I was considering mistake as it is permanent, yes, but deck lockdown prevents both players from special summoning from deck as well, which is why I went with deck lockdown instead.

Deck lockdown is one of those cards that no one expects which is so nice. I've also bought a set of mistaken arrest and will definitely test that card out!

I have played less before passwords before, and I noticed a big drop in terms of being able to see twin engine even if I played 2 instead of 3. I understand people think it's a lot, which it is, but I value seeing the twins because they make the boards so much more oppressive. Treat however is played not for the grave effect but for the utility it provides in creating boards and playing through disruption. Thanks for the feedback tho 🙏

I play handtraps because it is a play style I am very used to. Runick introduces a new control, resource management heavy playstyle to the deck which takes A LOT of practice to learn. It also takes away the battle phase, which is a source of removal since trouble sunny is 3300 atk

The live twins can only trigger on summon if you control NO OTHER MONSTERS. So in that case going second, if you were to nibiru your opponent, Live Twin Lil-la will not be able to trigger to summon a Ki-sikil. One way to compensate for this, however, is to actually play spright sprind to be able to send the missing name to grave, but it just takes more resources to be able to facilitate the twin combo after resolving a nibiru.

Noir is pretty clutch and unexpected lol. As for sprind, it is only used to play twin combo without opening twins by converting 3 bodies into what is one pop on the opponent's turn. I don't think that's worth it when 3 bodies can be a pure spright board - carrot, red, djinn + handtraps

@@LofiDuelist OK, that makes sense. I’ll try Noir in my games. Also Whats your approach to tackling the Unchained matchup? Specifically with what you are siding in? Your prior list had Ghostbelle, so I wonder what you would side in for your currently list.

@@Sparda900 obviously, ogre is taken out lol. For unchained I would recommend d.d. crow since you can hit the blue dog and it isn't once per turn. Everything else is kinda mid into unchained tbh which is why the deck is super scary

Also, how is Krystya in your side deck? It looks to be a solid target in the new meta.

@@Sparda900 krystya for a bunch of decks other than Kash, but with unchained being introduced into the meta I don't think krystya is as valid as a cat target as before It's a target for local tourneys at best

@@Slushy916 I actually USED to play sprind, which became azalea, then baby noir. Sprind was nice because it allowed you to convert 3 bodies into twin combo without opening twins. However, that's resource intensive in my eyes when you can make a spright board instead - red, carrot, djinn buster and non engine. There isn't much value in using that much for 1 pop when you can create 3 interruptions instead. Hope that made sense :)

Battle phase is a relevant source of removal when you get into trouble sunny to swing into things, also enabling mosquito OTKs and Zeus plays. Runicks are good but honestly I just don't like the way they play and handtrapping is what I'm used to

The list was a little different than this; Ran 2 secret password and 2 spright red and ghost belles were ghost mourners. Funny enough I brick rounds 1 and 2 after winning both dice rolls which killed my run long term :/

I'm gonna try for pure next format I hear new support is on its way and we can start innovating on this
