I saw a video of Johnny and the Jukes and a little girl dancing around the stage. She was an angel. It was a riot. Johnny and the band were beside themselves. The little girl was just dancing, happy, and seemingly oblivious that she was dancing in front of thousands. It was a great show.

im currently watching the Sukeban Deka 2 series(1985), and i was shocked when one of the protagonist say 'miyamoto, play that song' and this song was played by her assistant, miyamoto. i believe it was a subtle reference, hell, even the whole episode keeps referencing this movie, and i loved it. Casablanca is one of my favourite movie, and this subtle reference was something i never expected, coming out from this kinda obscure 80s show from japan

I first saw Southside in 1979, supporting Led Zeppelin. It was a hot afternoon in August, bright sunlight in the English countryside but this band had me thinking it was 1am in a club in Jersey. They were sublime. 45 years later and I'm still listening... x
