Looks great! You provide numbers to explain the size... But i can see the size. What i don't know is: In which conditions i can use it? For which range of temperatures, of rain, of wind... Also it would be nice to see someone in it... I mean: Hide yourself. Show only the tent. Or show yourself sitting and lying in the tent...

Not sure why a high, waterproof boot needs a gaiter.
@kyleredilla73772 ай бұрын
I've seen folks wear them over bunny boots for deep snow conditions. Worn on the outside of snowpants / coveralls, it makes a pretty secure barrier for snow getting up in between the pant and boot
@AlaskaGearCompanyАй бұрын
We've included a gaiter for additional protection for snow and overflow situations. They work great with this boot.

Cool! Or hot, rather. It is just as well that the parts of Norway where I live it really doesn't get as cold as one would be needing boots like these, or I would have considered purchasing these. Can't imagine international shipping would be really cheap :)

HEY i have a tip. Back when the original "bunny boot" was invented there was no closed cell foam. Now you have acces to closed cell insulated foam like "EVA" and so on. Id reccomend using it as insjlation for multiple reasons. 1:its synthetic and this lasts way longer 2: is not effected by water at all and more or less waterproof so if a hole happend sin the boot it wont loose insualtion value or absorb water 3: its tested. There is already boot liners you can buy online and there is videos of these beonh tested with water so on.... 4: over all easier to work with tougher cheaper doesnt compress. Compraed to wool wich has all of these problems. Con: -a possible con that might exist but have not seen any evidence for and would need to be tested. Is since kt traps insualting gass inside the closed cells it might expand and contract in high or low altitudes. Tho i havnt seen this at all

Part of me thinks that the reason for the re-invention of this Arctic Bunny Boot is because of the coming conflict in the Arctic. I'm here for it.
Yeah i dont think air pockets in the heel is good for insulation, should've had it full like the old version
@Desire_of_Ages8 ай бұрын
Air pockets in the heal?! ... boy, that's not insulation, that's called cheating on quality (a.k.a reducing the life of the product, significantly)

Great, it's about time. The best , warmest winter boot in the world. I can still remember those cold dark nights in Korea, with the strong cold winds whipping down out of Manchuria, and my feet were so warm, they sweat. The rest of my body sucked, but my feet were happy.

I also got my first pair of bunny boots as a kid in north pole alaska during the pipeline. I know cold. The rest of my teen yearsi lived south of buffalo ny, outdoors butt deep in snow. Mom bought moon boots and such but i always went back to bunnys. No i live near fort drum ny, i work outside all winter still wearing issed mickey mouse boots.

One of the best features of the original boots was how flexible they are around the ankle and gusset. You can work or walk distance in them without chafing or blistering. The copies I have tried are way too stiff.

I spent 18 months at Site Summit, just outside of ft. Richardson AK. I lived in my white micky mouse boots. I have a friend who lives in Anchorage, (former Army buddy from Site Summit) and he spends a lot of time outdoors . If you need a nomination, I can get his name to you.

Great to hear!! Love the old military bunny boots but they are quite outdated. I dont live in alaska but i live in upstate NY and we ice fish alot. Growing up here alot of the old timers wore them on lake george, lake champlain ice fishing. We had overnights on the ice that reached -38 degrees. Which is probably a norm in alaska but i can see these boots being great for harsh winters up here. Would love to try a pair! 🥶💨
