It's possible for levels to preset costumes on endangered plants so I believe that was preset to have the Sunflower represent Solar Flare.

Someone on the discord server looked into the code and I believe they didn't mention anything about a TP stat or limited item inventory, as neat as that would be. I imagine if they did have a TP stat it would become apparent as they'd likely have strong TP restoring items to facilitate moves like Ice Rain.

The mod's now got settings for lawn zoom and camera position! So I decided to see what it'd be like zoomed out for a full lawn view.

It's been so long since I played I forgot that was a thing; though that probably wouldn't have removed the poison since that's a debuff that happens to grant an atk boost. So my thought was to just keep attacking and rely on Status Booster to get Vi frozen so I don't waste any turns not doing damage.

I forgot that was even an item. And according to another comment it seems that's an item he CAN use too. I think I got off lucky lol.

@@Milesprowerthegamer lmao, yeah, lucky you if that is the case. Opponent Team Snakemouth didn't seem to pull out a lot of items during the fight in general. I wonder what their invetory looks like at the start of the battle.

@@Helix_DX From what I've seen trying this fight thus far, Spicy Berries from Vi, Jayde's Stews and back-to-back Miracle Seed use are possible; honestly lack of item use seems to be the one silver lining with this fight Update: Miracle Shakes are also possible items to see in addition to Danger Shrooms to activate Vi's Poison Attacker (didn't raise her defense or heal her when I saw this happen so it looks like Poison Attacker is her equip) - This fight really shaping up to be the Bug Fables version of Sans from Undertale

I have no idea. If this fight's been added to the boss rush then damn, itemless boss rush just became an absolutely ABSURD challenge.

Unfortunately, Snakemouth is now counted as the final round of Boss Rush and Boss Rush EX after Everlasting King; Sounds like Itemless Boss Rush is borderline not feasible anymore, never mind how hard the TUFFBUGS version for all of these challenges are going to be now (might even rival stuff like Sans in Undertale)

Thanks! Pretty much within an hour of the update releasing I was already making attempts at the fight and tweaking my strategy and eventually I got this run, editing took me like one hour after that and then it was up.

Definitely, there's no other fight that comes even remotely close, not even Team Slacker.

I used Bomb Master, Item Recycle, Sleep damaging medal and Sleep bombs to win this fight those are a seriously good mix for this match

This fight is easy on hard mode. Just use Queen's Dinners, Bubble Shield, Fly Drop, one party member uses favorite one; it's an automatic win.

So this is why the developers said they weren't going to use Team Snakemouth in a potential sequel.

Under normal circumstances I'd agree, but restricting Primals has a HUGE impact because of Marsh Stomper. I doubt a similar challenge of no seediums, instas, PFless mowerless would be nearly as bad in those levels. That being said, I suppose a similar challenge for BWBX-X could replace no primals with no slows...that sounds like it would actually be awful to try and attempt.

YEP I WAS FREAKING OUT WHEN THAT HAPPENED, IMP PEAR PF CAME IN CLUTCH. The best part? I didn't even mean to PF the Imp Pear there I was just spamming PFs and panicking.
