Aw, poor Blue! Glad to see both of you out walking again after your tooth ordeal as well. I'd hate for them to have to put you both to sleep. I've really been enjoying the episodes from the conference. I've been working my way through them. Bernard Cornwell cracks me up! He's got to be the greatest guest you can possibly get and yet the most difficult guy to interview. I think I would wet my pants if I had to interview him.

I’m actually in the UK this week (from California in the USA). I’d love to pick up a signed copy while I’m here. I've just ordered the first two books from The Bernicia Chronicles from your website as I thoroughly enjoyed Wolf of Wessex so I'm keen to start those.

What a strange coincidence that you were in the Bath bookshops on the same day as my sister-in-law, who travelled down from Staffordshire.

Timeline problems - are you using Aeon for 'Dark Frontier'? After listening to you on the software-for-writers podcast, I bought Aeon - you should be on commission! I'd forgotten how much time it takes for me to learn new software :( Some things are easy and then I got stuck on the fact that a) I need to put in actual fake dates of birth for real medieval characters where we only know month or even year and b) I can figure out how you quickly check the age of a character at Event X (when you've put event X in) Also I write on an ipad (so I can write in the garden on a train, wherever - Dr Seuss style :) )and edit on a pc so that's not helpful :) I think it will be useful, but I need to input more info I think!
