Nothing controversial about this, skilled digger drivers do this all the time. As already mentioned in the comments Rototilt and other companies make attachments to revolve the bucket completely and vary the angle, ideal for a tracked machine. The Digger Girl on her channel shows lots of good examples how to get the best out of them.
@Rhinox-Group11 күн бұрын
There was a lot of controversy about reversing buckets when Lady Lana started posting videos using this technique, but reversing a bucket is definitely a common practice in more recent times because it can be very effective! Tiltrotators are great for tilting and twisting to the desired angle but aren't affordable for everybody so reversing a bucket is the best alternative to achieve a similar effect!

Tiltrotator couplers are very popular in the UK but are typically used by construction companies! So smaller companies or owner operators tend to reverse a bucket when needed!

Most good operators use the cutting edge for grading off stone, using back of the bucket is frowned upon where i work.
@Rhinox-GroupАй бұрын
That’s interesting - thanks for the comment, Paul. It’s good to hear how your workplace emphasises using the cutting edge to grade, this helps to protect the back of the bucket!

Thanks for the comment. In this process, the plastic isn’t actually melted, it’s simply warmed to become malleable, so no toxic fumes are released.

I am sooo disappointed. I bought a used digger that had a bad factory coupler. For the same money i could have bought this coupler. Its much nicer and many more buckets are available with full pin set up than quik coupler buckets. Ddddayum.
@Rhinox-GroupАй бұрын
We're sorry to hear this! Quick couplers are a great investment so if you can justify one, we would always recommend investing! They save a lot of unnecessary wear to your pins, bucket links and tipping links.

This is no safer than just moving the buckets without hooks. One knock and it's gonna fall off anyway, there's nothing holding it on. Total bullshit idea.
@Rhinox-Group2 ай бұрын
When you curl the grading bucket towards the arm, gravity applies downward pressure on the digging buckets, keeping them securely in place. As long as you're tracking steadily, your buckets won't fall off. It's becoming more common for manufacturers to incorporate bucket hooks into their design nowadays as they're very popular!
@sideshowbob58132 ай бұрын
@@Rhinox-Group As long as you're tracking steadily you would never have a problem anyway any id put money on the fact that the guys that drive these diggers every day could pick up the buckets just as fast no problem. You can even trap them against the boom if you really want which you wouldn't be able to do with the hooks. It just seems like a diy fix for a non existent problem!!? They don't look too sturdy either, how long till they're all bent and smashed and won't hook on any more?

that beam seems like using the back of you bucket, or grading in easy mode, when you grade an aggregate that needs to be compacted after, you want to cut the the surface so as to not get uneven compaction, after the roller hits it you will notice the difference
@firstname62082 ай бұрын
i'm going to purchase some quick attach mounting plates and weld them on to a 60"x 6" I beam. can do all that for about $350 .

Great no-nonense tutorial! Do these struggle if there's some large stone in the soil. I need to build conservatory but i think a lot of stone from an old retaining wall has been buried in the ground. Appreciate your advice. Thanks again
@Rhinox-Group2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! Using a standard bucket to break up a retaining wall can be challenging. You may want to try a ripper tooth, as it concentrates all the machine's power into a single point, making it much stronger and more effective than a digging bucket, which spreads the force across multiple teeth. However, it’s still worth starting with a standard digging bucket, as the wall may break apart easily, depending on how well it was constructed or how long ago it was built. Hope this helps!

Didn't really show anything. Where was the clip where they formed the curved section of the bucket...for that matter where was the clip where they showed making a bucket? Went from laser cutting to a finished bucket that a few doo dadds were added to.
@Rhinox-Group2 ай бұрын
We apologise that this video did not fully meet your expectations. To streamline our manufacturing process, we purchase our steel pre-shaped, this allows for quick and efficient assembly of the parts. The clip following the laser cutting, shows our welder assembling and tacking the parts before welding - this is the first step in our process once the components are cut and shaped.
