Good info - going to see if this procedure will fix my dryer- Tks for posting

I am trying to fix my washer following your instructions, but the boot is on the opposite side and there is only a wire holding it on, with no clamp that I can see or feel. Also, there seems to be an electrical box on the floor of the washer that will get wet if I take off the boot and there is water in it. I was hoping not to have to take the entire front off. 😢

I'm glad to give you the first comment. I like the informative video. I love to learn things like this. I found this video while looking for why my Maytag fridge is leaking water on the defrost cycle. Fan is running and the fridge works great. Thanks for sharing your knowledge about refrigerators...

Thanks so much Burt. There’s something blocking the defrost drain line . Probably a chunk of ice. When it does defrost the melted ice leaks out on the floor instead of into the drain pan.

THANK YOU!!! I have this problem since a year or so and I had to push the door at least 15/15 times while the oven was preheating. I didn’t think until today to look online and of course no professional knew this. I was ready to destroy my oven 🤪🤪. After watching your video, it took me 2min and it is fixed. Thank you again!!!

Can you try pulling the choke a little further out and let the rpm’s build up for a minute and then close the choke. If it still dies you might just need to pour out the old gas and pour in new gas.

Ugh...i wish I had seen this video a few years ago. I followed other instructions last time which included removing all panels and both concrete drum-weights to get to the coin filter. I have to do this again, and I am glad to see that I "should" be able to access it through the bottom of the machine wish me luck!

Thank you for responding. I see models from 7637, 7537, 7437 and none of them have access to the filters. And they are 3 years older or more. The 7437 has 2 pumps, the 7537 has 3 pumps and the 7637 has 4 pumps - why so many pumps? Does that mean more filters? They all look similar to the model you’re working on - was it a 4.5 cubic ft? I have cleaned filters for years and never had there been socks. Hair ties or a bag in it. I was always informed those filters need to be emptied regularly - every month or two so the water does build up bacteria and to catch little gritty residue from accumulating. Now they make filters inaccessible for the owners. Does anyone have any of the models mentioned and this is the sane location of the filter? It’s so hard to lift it and access. Please help.

you are my hero. This has plagued me for years, I've replaced the hinge, cleaned it, tampered with it, and was about to purchase a hinge receptacle and take the whole range apart to install it. This fixed my problem in 30 seconds, it took me longer to find junky pieces of cloth than to reset the springs. THANK YOU!!!

A Miele dishwasher should be serviced on its back, not its side, to avoid the brine chamber from draining. The service manual suggests briefly removing the salt fill cap to let the brine chamber drain any excess water from the fill system into the sump as the first step in the draining process. It was useful to remove the side panels for making the video, but they don't have to be removed to change the tension cord. At 7:45 the pulley adjustment screws don't need to be completely removed, just loosened. At 7:30 you are removing most of the screws for the lower front metal 'kick panel'. Just take out the remaining two screws and remove it completely to have better access and sight lines. Typically the screws are T-20, not T-15. With Torx a size smaller usually works, but using the proper size reduces wear and the chance of stripping out.

Suggest running the dishwashers and recording the sound they make at the beginning of all your videos. This would help people to diagnose the issue and confirm they are watching the correct video for their situation.

Thanks, I followed these instructions twice. Once about 2 years ago and today for the second time. Maybe I didnt solder correctly the first time, or maybe I did but this psrticular pin breaks often.
@FastFreeFixesАй бұрын
Nice job, If the heating element is worn out it will keep that circuit going too long and cause the solder to melt.
@hellagrantАй бұрын
@@FastFreeFixes By "heating element" are we referring to the relay attached to the solder that has an issue. Thanks for the tip on using a dental pick, I did the same thing after popping out the old solder.

My washer is full of water... can i do this, or will all the water come pouring out as soon as I disconnect the hose? I can't open the door. It's locked.
@FastFreeFixesАй бұрын
Great question Melani, Water will come pouring out. You can pull it away from the wall and lean it back to 45 degrees to lesson the amount of water that comes out. Maybe the door will open when the washer is leaned back?
@KownbyАй бұрын
Yes, water will gush out. Try running it in diagnostic mode 11 a few times to force it to drain first.

Thought our rollers or a belt had failed because the banging was so loud. Attempted this as a first troubleshoot and it worked! Poor design by Electrolux on the blades attracting lint. Glad this put off the need for a new dryer for many more years, and saved an expensive repair visit (neighbor had a recent group out for $400!). Thank you!!

@@FastFreeFixes if u have more airflow at idle than 0.19 to 0.20 grams per second u could possible have unmetered air like vacuum leak at idle will throw short term and long term possible +20 percent at idle but when throttle plate is open it won’t need any fuel trim correction because throttle is open alowimg atmospheric air in and at idle thier restriction u don’t need much air flow at idle u just need enough airflow to overcome the parasite loss of the motor the oil pressure and the piston coming down on induction stroke that takes work so that’s why at idle u only need enough airflow to overcome the parasite loss of the motor if u have questions feel free to reach out

Hello. I have a similar model Samsung dryer and ordered the replacement kit. After watching another video on how to disassemble the dryer to get it to the point where you start this video, I changed out the 4 sensors, re-assembled, and it worked! Dryer is once again completing the cycle and singing the tune at the end. Thank you so much for your video. You saved me at least $800.

I'm in an apartment and the washer/dryer is tucked in a very TIGHT corner. There is no way I can move it myself, its too dangerous also its directly next to some steep stairs. Even the delivery guys were freaked out by everything. I have a newer whirlpool with touch buttons that weighs the wet clothes. The display comes on and counts down but it won't tumble! When I finally am able to get it to tumble it shuts off early! I've been at this for hours! It's a newer machine 7 months old. Model Number : WED5100HW

Even easier fix - we disconnected vent hose and then took our air compressor with a long blower attachment and just blew out the blades. Amazing the amount of lint we got out this way! Dryer is quiet and working like new! Thanks for the video :)
