That's a really neat place I liked the shots of the waterfall. Happy 35 year reunion to you. I appreciate you doing these videos as I graduated WMHS class of 93'. I started searching the internet for the old marching cadences b/c I missed hearing them and found your channel. one other thing I think its spooky that the gate to the bar seems to start swinging on its own at 4:19 :) have a great day! Keep up the good work.

Call me a purist if you will, or anything else. But you know what's next to a busy railroad mainline? Auto plants. Grain elevators. Petro refineries. Storage facilities. Warehouses. Not Rollercoasters, Ferriswheels, Circuses, Playgrounds, or Art Fairs.

@8:59 on the bottom right side of the screen you can see my late husband in the blue jacket and white hat waving. A few minutes later he was struck by a CSX locomotive and was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. He lost both legs and his right arm....He died a year later from the injuries he sustained that day. 😢

Where did you get the roller coaster?
@captcurt312 жыл бұрын
I’m a visitor to the layout. I’m not sure where the coaster is from. It’s been on the layout for several years.

I watch quite a few train vids here on YT and when this vid popped up, I clicked. You're one of the few who films it the way I prefer, you zoom out and take in the full scene and multiple moving trains in view at the same time, rather than focus on one point watching trains pass, missing out on everything else going on. You captured it all and still got all the cool details too (loved the waterfall!), kudos!
@captcurt312 жыл бұрын
Thank you. They have O gauge upstairs and HO gauge downstairs here. There is a ton of detail to see besides all the trains.

I really wish someone would build a model roller coaster that ran at scale speeds. Everything else is perfect but when I see these models run I can’t help but think those poor scale riders just had their brains liquified.

This layout is awesome! I want to be a kid again. Wish I would have saved 😪 all my train stuff 🙄 😒

That's the thing about model trains, you don't need to be a kid in age. Be a kid at heart. Trains are for everyone.
