Not sure if smelting wood into charcoal was in Alpha. I really need to play Java to figure it out. Gotta figure out how to get a gaming PC for it though. I do know this: it takes a pickaxe to mine a crafting table. I didn't catch how often you would update the world

It is not. I looked it up and it wasn't added until Beta 1.2! So i have quite a way to go before i can make charcoal. Thank you for watching! ^w^

Just saw the edits to the comment. A pick for a crafting table?... really? Doesn't suprise me lol! And as for how often. In these early alpha versions we will update several versions each episode. but as we get newer, and more gets added. The updates will slow down!

make sure to back up your world before you get to Beta 1.3, they changed the world saves, but the way conversion works makes world corruption super likely, especially if you do a lot of exploring in these early Alpha updates

It wards off those who are immature, and/or unable to think for themselves. It also helps just have people who are chill, and generally respect people for who they are.

The characterization of the HECU to be a bunch of dumb thugs who are also involved in a top secret operation where they murder American citizens who are local to the area (some of the security guards are probably veterans for God's sake) is ridiculous. But I also think it's hilarious.

My biggest thing with the half-life story is yeah they're marines and they would probably act like that to an enemy country but every single Marine I've spoken too, and I've talked to a lot of them and they all said if they would desert from the military Marines have a code of honor they follow to the letter, if you wanted to pull that shit you send in the CIA spooks AKA the black offs and merc in all honesty even if they where told some bullshit lie I can guarantee that some Marines are going to capture some black masa staff probably beat some info out of the them all bets are off. (Granted they won't make a difference when the combine arrive, The only thing that will probably change is the resistance science team will have a few more members, now their is a theory that their is a Seattle in orbit to allow the combine to enter our universe, if this is true then maybe the hecu can work with the science team to knock it out of orbit or something but this was just a theory)
