Well anyway to make a long story short I helped save the couple in the car and there was the most popular couple in town and when they started running down the space of road between the two lanes everybody saw them running and yelling and just follow them off the bridge and I what kind of walked off the bridge with that thing going back and forth in Indiana anyway I wanted to know whatever happened to the engineer play whatever happened to the couple and whatever happened to Mike foster sister brother and my sister and my twin sister my love with all my heart thank you for the beautiful sisters I wish we could have spent more time together in life

You said you tell everybody on the right side and I'll tell everyone in the left side when I got to the middle of the bridge I saw my friends that I just made up in town soon to be married couple in the white Chevy Impala like 63 to 6570 Impala and next thing I know I'm telling them what's going on and I see a strand of the freaking cable just snap and go start going woop woop woop I said get your wife's head down and let's get our heads down that thing's going to snap sure enough for you both kind of picked up by the top of the window and right by the driver side it smashed I was down on the side of the driver side door it smashed the windshield and if I would have ran ahead to tell the next people in the next car wouldn't stop to tell him what was going on explain to him

Kenneth Johnson, who was the writer and producer of The Six Million Dollar Man & The Bionic Woman was discussing this in an interview from 2010. I had no idea that André the Giant played The Bigfoot and spoke very little English. He was describing how they used the tunnel to film a scene, to save money. In the scene, André had to carry Lee Majors (Steve Austin) through the tunnel and all of the camera crew kept falling over trying to film it. They finally had to hang on to something so they could do it. Lee was afraid that André would drop him, so Kenny instructd André to look down at the ground, to avoid getting dizzy and then had to allow him to carry him through the tunnel so that Majors would do it. I remember the tunnel being there when I was a kid, but I didn't remember the entrance looking like this.

I miss the old US from the 70s and 80s. It's really boring now. Miss seeing all the "homes" from the 1960s sitcoms but are no longer there. On the times we went the stop midway in the tour with the oversized telephone and shoe and other props was never open so I never got to see it and now it's long gone...

I cherish my memories of going over this bridge back in the 90s. It was the best part of the studio tour that I looked forward to as a kid. I completely understand why it's not in use anymore. Every time I visit the studio tour, which is rare as I don't live in CA, I look at that bridge with fondness when the tram passes by it.

The first film actually made at Leavesden was "Goldeneye" in 1995, as the Bond series' traditional home at Pinewood Studios was unavailable. This was also why they had to film "Tomorrow Never Dies" elsewhere.
