Thanks for this information. It is now 2023. FYI for anyone wiring the hot tub, the breakers that came with our Tahitian Spa were organized differently than the drawing. Be sure to read the breaker carefully to see load and neutral placement when wiring. On my breaker set that came with the hot tub the labels "HOT" and "NEUTRAL" were imprinted very lightly on the plastic surface. Took me a while before I saw them. The organization was Hot Neutral Hot whereas the diagram is Hot Hot Neutral. The diagram in the manual and other documents are for information only.

When I get out of my hot tub I feel like I just got injected with caffeine. It doesn't make me sleepy, just the opposite. I'm thinking about getting in it in the morning to start. my day instead of in the evening. It has the opposite effect on me apparently.

I'm addicted to sauna! It has made my skin incredibly smooth and soft. The callouses on my feet have softened and my feet look so smooth also. Plus I have no pain from my intense daily workouts. I don't fatigue like I used to either. My sleep is so good-I have an app that measures heart rate variability, SaO2, HR, etc., and I am at the 90th percentile in people like me. I started using the dry sauna when I got long covid at the end of 2022, and it helped tremendously.

Are you still using your sauna, Zach, or has your sauna become a piece of furniture in your home?
@TheSpaSaunaCompany2 жыл бұрын
From Zach: I’m still using the sauna though my schedule is such lately that it’s not at a consistent time of day. I use it for a minimum of 30 minutes and if possible 50-60 minutes.
@tejafuller23493 жыл бұрын
Did you notice any mood changes or body changes from using it so much?
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Teja! Great question. Here is what Zach said: "Regarding mood, the sauna was and still is quite invigorating. When I use it at night, the better sleep helps in reduced stress, improved mental clarity, and improved rest helps with overall outlook or mood. I tend to use the sauna in the mornings during the warmer seasons. It’s a great way to start the day! For the body aspect, better energy, healthier skin, better recovery are all things I’ve experienced. I’ve also benefited from a clearing of respiratory areas when dealing with a common cold or other sinus issue. Staying hydrated is key!"
@pkstiever Жыл бұрын
@@TheSpaSaunaCompany I have the same experiences. I have been using the dry sauna regularly at least 4 times a week since October 2022. The most obvious physical sign is my skin. It looks younger, glows, and is clear and softer than I have ever experienced it! It obviously has gotten rid of old dry skin. I had dry eyes before too but the heat must have liquefied the oils in my eye glands, because they work much better now.

I don't have a water drop icon on the bottom of my screen between the jet and light icons. How do I access the salt system control?
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joan, thanks for your question! Can you confirm your Hot Spring is equipped with the salt system? If so, salt control is not being recognized and we recommend scheduling a service tech to come look at your salt system. Additionally if you have a Hot Spring Limelight Series spa, you likely have a different controller than the Highlife controller in the video. It's possible the water drop icon is in a different location depending on your version of OS.

How do you connect to the bluetooth speakers?
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Can you let me know what year your Caldera Vacanza is? Control panels are updated every few years, and it's possible we have one to give you an accurate step by step. Generally speaking setting up Bluetooth involves a few steps. First, make sure Bluetooth is turned on on the device you are trying to connect as well as the speakers and both are set to discoverable. From the list of available devices, click on the one you would like to pair with your current device. You will likely be asked to confirm the pairing on the device you are trying to pair with. Once you confirm the pairing, the two devices will be connected.

How long after balancing the water should salt be added during the first fill. thank you
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, thanks for your question! There is no need to wait to add salt after balancing your water. But it is best to add salt incrementally (about every 5 minutes) to avoid adding too much.

Do you consider salt a chemical?
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jake, that is a good question! The short answer is yes, salt can certainly be considered a chemical, and certainly how it functions in salt water spas is similar to how more traditional water care chemicals function in standard spas.

I have a Hot Springs Gleam model hot tub. I replaced the filter, recently got a new heat pump and heat assist but I am still getting that “protection mode” message? What else should I check? I’ve also drained the hot tub and put new water in it. And I’ve turned the circuit breaker/GFI switch on and off. I’ve had a service guy look at it as well with no luck. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!
@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nina, sorry to hear you're having issues with your Gleam. It is difficult to diagnose without seeing the spa but our service team was wondering if there is anything in the service compartment itself that could cause your pump to overheat, perhaps something aftermarket or dirt/debris? It's possible there is dirt/debris in your piping as well. Have you had a professional drain and clean your spa?

@TheSpaSaunaCompany3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alice, to answer your question - yes, a filter that is not seated correctly will likely cause a flow sensor error, especially if it is not seated correctly due to damage or incorrect size.

Hi Patrick, apologies for the delay. After checking with our service team we recommend scheduling a technician to come out. FLC to FLO indicates the flow switch is likely the culprit but we can't be certain without inspection. If you are in our service area we would be happy to help.
