For an actor, some things allow him to obtain immortality. For this actor, it might just be him acting Thranduil. Interestingly there are quite a few actors in P. Jacksons Middle Earth works that will be remembered for a long time as those characters, Taylor, Mortenson, and even Weaving, Lee and McKellen besides their brilliant work in other movies.
