This was originally Schindler before it was modded by KONE, so this is obviously a KONE mod, not a MonoSpace replacement, it’s been modded to look like a MonoSpace.

There's no generations to Monospaces, this is a Monospace with Sigma fixtures. The generations (1st Generation, 2nd Generation, 3rd generation etc.) are just a BENO term for Monospace designs.

The first lift was a very grotty 1971 Express heavily modernised by Titan in 2015. The second lifts are 1980s “Titan Range” Lifts modded also by Titan in 2015 - The cabs are original albeit new COP and mirrors, and are still very characterful. There are videos of both the original Express and Titan Ranges on KZbin. The third set of lifts were 1970s Express, fully replaced by Hammond & Champness in the 80s, then slightly modded by KONE in around 2004.

Thats interesting, thanks for the info. In my opinion the third set of lifts have the most character. I like how they kept the doors original in the second set at least.

Very accurate info - I like it! And there’s still a couple of original Express Lifts in the building, but not public. One is a single speed gated goods lift, and the other is a 2-speed passenger lift. It’s great to see some original 54 year old lifts in a shopping centre building!
