Ridiculously bad narration, like oh god. And worse, the story is written kinda poorly. A thing with these humans good but weird stories is they never describe the aliens. It's a good way to let you make something scarier, to leave it unknown, but also it means you don't ever really get the picture across and you leave things confused.
