The thing that sticks out about these old ads is the actors which accurately reflected the demographic of Australia back then. Modern ads are pushing an agenda using a disproportionate amount of black actresses of African descent. Examination of the latest census would indicate that these actresses would be drawn from a pool of 67,000 inhabitants out of a total population of 26,500,000. Hypocritical discrimination.

Nonsense. People in the 90s were saying the same thing about the 60s. And people in the 60s were... Attitudes were worse towards most things. Conservative authoritarianism was so ingrained it was the invisible (to some) default. That's what reactionaries miss.

I love the unsaturated colours the squarish blocky devices with that vynil plastic lookwith rounded square edges the enthusiasm of life in everyone's voice I miss it I miss that show beyond 2000
