Cytoscramblers. REALLY high damage against shields, really LOW damage against hull (unless you use corrosive shell alongside it). It's a powerplay weapon. Obtained by pledging to Archon Delaine for a month and getting the merits etc. Not sure how the new upcoming powerplay will make it available however.

@@Localnimation Yeah each of the powers have their own one. Some are better than others but the good ones are: Pacifiers, prismatic shields, enforcers, cytoscramblers, maybe the containment missile.

72 dps XD. Against shields its pretty much on par with an overcharged huge beam laser. Against hull well.... you have to run corrosive shell on something or it's useless.

@@Kingbee642 Give 'em a try! They can be engineered in a bunch of different and interesting ways. EG: With phasing they're kinda intersting. With thermal shock, they'll heat up NPC's to the point where they'll barely fire at you. etc etc

I'm glad you like it! Yeah an Adder would probably do a little better ...but it's also easier to hit, even with gimbals. Sidey is so small. Ultimately, there's haters that are like, "hurr you wouldn't win against a player Corvette/Anaconda" etc etc. That may be true (depends on who's flying XD ) but it's STILL the starter ship vs 3 x "end game" ships. I do REALLY think Fdev needs to add some better NPC combat. For medium and above ships, most NPC combat is really trivial. They just need to make some NPCs or missions have better engineered NPCs to *really* hone the ol' skills. (Wing assassination missions don't count)

It's cause I dropped from behind the station. The long tail of the Orbis station doesn't count, it's just the distance to the centre of the station that it looks for. In fact, you can fly to the end of an Orbis like this, be RIGHT next to it and you won't be mass locked. XD

Cannon is probably my favourite weapon. For this build to work, you need corrosive shell to get the cytos to damage hull so, if someone didn't have enforcer, they CAN use a small frag with corrosive but small frag is so trash, it's almost only good for applying corrosive. :D

@@silverstyles5646 Correct and I agree, cannon may not be the most efficient weapon but it's my favorite. It's also underrated probably because of all the nerfs

@@jl3114 Cannons are awesome! They're like Kmart PA's. They're actually SUPER efficient if you use them what they're designed for: Blowing up modules. They'll pop a powerplant in a few shots and then blow up the ship after a few more. High yield shell got a nerf which is a little rough but I get why. Not to mention dispersal field experimental means you can afford point defense on a PvE Eagle since NPC's will SPAM missiles once the weak shield is down. Nothing wrecks an Eagle run faster than multiple missiles. It's small frags that are worthless lol.

@@silverstyles5646 Well hit me up if you ever want to take on some wing missions for materials, I don't really like grinding for them in the buggie so I do CZ and HAZRES missions

It's a powerplay weapon from pledging to Archon Delaine. It's designed to take down shields fast but deal almost no damage to hull. Great for smalls ships vs big shields.

It takes a long as you're willing to learn and improve! Took me a few weeks to get the hang of it and about 6 months to get to what you're seeing in this video. Now, I've improved more since this video as well! :D

I've got a lot better at combat/flying since this video, feel free to binge my other stuff! XD Elite is a great game, I'm really glad it still holds up today as probably the best space game despite its many flaws.

It's a powerplay weapon. It can do more dps than a huge beam laser against shields but basically nothing against hull (unless you use corrosive on another hardpoint) You gotta: 1- Pledge to Archon Delaine. 2- Wait 4 weeks..... 3- Get 750 merits before the powerplay cycle ends. 4- Now you can buy them from any control system of Archon's. As long as you don't sell 'em, you've got 'em forever, even if you're no longer pledged, just like any other powerplay weapon.
