I've scored a little over 700 in a rated OTB game. But not 800 I'm afraid. 600 is psychologically motivating. But is owed to various factors.

At the end of the first game, Macondo has found an 8% win for Josh: 11J V(I)G, after which if he picks up LN or AT, he has bingoes in two places (and Mack doesn't have one). In the actual case, when D and L are in the bag, he needs to fish off G and N (at N1 or D13), after which he again has bingoes in two places. This is a 5.5% win. But even Macondo took more than the 7 minutes that Josh had to figure this out, at least on my puny laptop.

Sad to see Josh get dominated after playing such solid Scrabble.

Shame I couldn't watch this live but I wasn't going to start watching half way through and spoil myself. So waited for VOD It's also shame game 0 and 1 were cut but you seemed to be having internet issues so happy atleast the rest of the games are fine. I'm sure we'll get full recaps on Mack's channel later down the line. Also the hot sauce idea was great (I falsely misremembered thinking I suggested it so I had to edit this comment, it was just Mack replying to me after I replied to his video saying the real winner would be the person who made the best content plays and he is the one who came up with the self inflicted punishment). Will also mentioned my reply of saying shouldn't it be other person chugging the hot sauce but clearly Mack is just addicted to hot sauce. The fact that community is so close makes me enjoy being part of it. Congrats to Mack for winning and thanks also to Josh for the well fought match. Can't wait more scrabble content coupled with excellent commentary in the days to come.
