Ever since I discovered the Canada is Vinland theory, I imagine the Nordics singing this while thinking of Canada (who was Vinland when they discovered him) and Canada doing the same (except he's singing it in French Canadian). Though, I mostly imagine it to be Canada and Norway being in this scene the most.

The Norwegian dub, in my opinion, is the best. Danish coming in a close second. Again, in my opinion; 1. Norwegian 2. Danish 3. Icelandic 4. Finnish 5. Swedish

Ja, hvorfor ikke? :) Det går jo ikke får å være det vanskeligste språket som finnes :P Yes, why not? Norwagian isen't supposed to be the hardest language there is :P And whats nice about norwegian is that you can then understand and speak swedish and danish too. Danish sound like norwegian but with a potato stuck in their throats. :3

thesatanic6 Sure ^^ The word går (gå) means borth walk and go. So I can see the confusion. It also means yeasterday. (I går) I går gikk jeg ut for å gå. Yesterday I went out for a walk. If I take your example, it is; Kjørte du hit? (Did you drive here?) Nei, jeg gikk. (No, I walked.) This are the tenses of the word (don't know what to walk would be called in english, sorry (infinitiv in Norwegian) ___ - present - past - perfect - future Å gå - går - gikk - (har) gått - (vil/skal) gå To walk - walking - walked - (have) walked - (will) walk To go - go - went - (have) gone - (will) go I hope I was of some help ^^ :3
@Cluttered_Mind
@Cluttered_Mind 10 жыл бұрын
I can see what you are trying to say with the norwegian. but the correct way to put it is: Q: Skal du kjøre når du drar/reiser/går? A: Nei, jeg skal gå. I'm sorry that i'm not that good at explaining "/ Maybe it would be easier to talk somwere else.
@Cluttered_Mind
@Cluttered_Mind 10 жыл бұрын
yes, your right, it is the same. In norwegian we have exstreamly many words thar have two or more meanings in english and other languages. Thake the word 'tre' It could mean the three, tree, wood And if you use it in a sentence it have more meanings. Like, tre inn. (walk inn.) Tre en nål.(Put thread in a needle)
