It's weird that we never see a single lesson with Snape in the film. They ADDED a whole ass action scene that leads to nothing but didn't adapt the most important moments. It's obviously possible, OOTP is the shortest movie but manages to adapt the book really well. MAYBE because it wasn't written by a hack like the other ones

While it makes sense to have him sound more humanlike (ryoji), what I like about the original is that cruel, unnerving and somewhat monsterous depiction death. It makes the fight more intimidating as the MC must overcome his fear and find peace. "It matters not who are... Death awaits you"
